My kids had a great time flying this big kite. The materials and constructions are an excellent quality. I like that it has a plastic sleeve to store and carry it places. We found it easy to get in the air, and fun to fly. However, we couldn't get use to the circular string reel. If was too large for my younger kids, and felt awkward to hold. The kite is easy to assemble and fun to fly. The reel is the star here, though! It works so well and is loads better than the tiny things that typically come with kites.

I have really enjoyed using this kite and reel from Mint Colorful Life with the kids in the family. The kite’s delta shape is very easy to fly and is very stable.The included Kite Reel Winder makes flying the kite so much easier. It is especially helpful to use the locking mechanism, before handing the winder over to the very young kids. The included 650 feet of string is stout and can really put the kite up there.The box that the kite and winder come in can also be used as a storage box to keep this kite kit nice, when not in use.This kite kit is durable, well made, and an awful lot of family fun for the money.

It’s a great kite just the rope started to tear after one use in Vegas calmer windy days. Went up really high and coasted. Tons of fun for us and the park. Easy to assembly, worth the cost stable and flyable

The reel that comes with this kite is horrible. It looks like it should work well, but the string just gets tangled immediately. The kite seemed to be ok when we were able to use it.

I assembled this in less than 10 minutes. It flew beautifully in my yard in 18mph winds. It crashed a few times and isn't noticeably damaged. It was very easy to assemble, launch and fly. I like the size (70 inches I think) and aesthetics.I highly recommend getting the one that comes with the rotating kite string spool. Once you figure it out, it makes your flying really smooth. You hold onto the center part and crank the wheel part with your other hand. If you brake the rotation initially with your thumb, you can launch the kite with one hand while controlling the spool with the other, then switch to two hands once the kite is airborne. The spool also has a string guide ring, which makes it easier to manage the string without tangling it.Some little nitpicks that kept it from getting a perfect review:-The kite had a tiny pinhole tear through the fabric of one wing when I unboxed it. The hole wasn't big enough to affect it's flight and it didn't show signs of further tearing.-The fiberglass rods are a little splintery and pricked my fingers a bit during assembly.-The carabiner thing that attaches the string to the kite had a tiny, stiff, wire clasp that would be very difficult to open for someone with arthritis or similar.-When carrying it around, it's easy to trip over the wingtip streamers if you're not careful.Despite these issues, I had a really great time with it.

I ordered this kite to take with us when we go to a nearby beach island via boat. It is easy to assemble and is fun to fly. It also comes in handy when we plan to meet people a the beach--I just tell them to look for the green kite. The reel winder is much better to use than old fashioned spools because it does not cause the string to get twisted and tangled. I have been pretty happy with this product and I do recommend it.
