This case is sturdy and should protect great. The added aluminum knob is a nice addition and will hold up much better than the plastic one.

This our 2nd so-called waterproof case purchased that is NON-authentic-GoPro and it leaks as well. The lens gets foggy as well. We did diving this past week in Roatan where water temp is 84 F -could be main factor, but no fun when your octopus pictures and video are blurry and foggy. Guess we will try the more expensive GoPro version - hope it works

product is easy to use and is what expected to be in a waterproof housing, wish the touch screen worked better so you didn't have to push the buttons on the camera.

The snap part fell off a lot when open, but once snapped, it was waterproof and secure.
