I don't look like the model of this product at all... However, this product really works for me to help my clothes fit better!I am having health issues that are affecting my lower back. I had been stooping forward at the waist and could not stand up as straight as I used to... This girdle really helps support my core stomach and back muscles to relieve that pressure and help me stand up straight without pain! Did I say it also helps my clothes fit a bit better...I had ordered the X-large size and realized what I really needed was the the XXL and ordered it! I did not return the smaller size as I justified that as I lose LBS I may need it later... Well, I am very glad I kept both as I have combined bothof the extra panels to make the girdle a bit bigger and more comfortable for me to wear! I still get that support I need for my core, but the added extra couple of inches help me sit and breath a bit better!Oh yeah... Helps make my clothes fit a bit better and look better!Thank you for marketing this vintage women's product to men and help us men feel better!Much appreciated!

Very lightweight and discreet under loose fitting shirt. If you have to really pull on it to make it fit then you're going to need about 30 min to get on. Little metal hooks and loops like a woman's girdle. 15 of them to be precise. Fine if you have just a LITTLE loose "fat" to help control but don't believe that this is the cure for being overweight. I like how the models in the ads are all people that have no need for something like this. They're already fit and trim. They are not your target audience. I have a torso slimmer that uses velcro type fastening and tightening "straps" on each side that works a lot better and a whole lot easier to put on.
