Handlebars are your main point of leverage and control with the bike. As you lift or steer them, the bike follows, so having a setup that fits you perfectly is pretty important.

Mounted riser bars allow you to sit further back in your saddle and still reach your handlebars while riding a mountain bike. Rising to the Occasion
If the steering tube of your mountain bike doesn't come up high enough to give you the upright riding position you want, high-rise handlebars can add a boost of a few inches. Riser bars are preferred by riders who want to avoid having a particularly sharp stem angle.
Moving to a High-Rise
You may experience numbness in your hands or pain in your shoulders and neck when you reach too far for your handlebars, lock your elbows, and re-distribute vibrations and impacts. Installing handlebars with a higher rise makes it less difficult to reach forward to meet your handlebars.

This fit my bike well and improved my riding posture.Unlike others, I had no problem with the ID being too small. My mirror and end plugs fit into the ends of the bar easily.

Why is it that most electric mountain-bikes don't have a height adjustment on the handlebar? My e-bike has always been a bit uncomfortable. I had to lean forward and put too much weight on my wrists to ride with the original handlebars. It bothered my arthritis...This high-rise (not so high - only 4") handlebar fixed the problem. It fit my bike perfectly. I can now ride in a more comfortable upright posture with less strain on my back and less weight of my wrists. I've had NO further problems with my wrists and can enjoy riding again.

I have adjusted the stock bars on my Aventon Pace 500.2 in every conceivable direction, in, out, up, down, forward and back and still get a numb right hand after just a few miles. I know it was just putting pressure on my ulnar nerve and I could not remedy it with the stock bars. I subsequently purchased these bars, it took about 90 minutes to install (I'm slow and methodical). They fit perfectly and I did not have any problems with the wiring harness. I just got back from a five mile ride and have no pain or numbness in either hand, what a great difference for me and $$ well spent. The first picture shows the original bars while the second and third show the new bars. I still may tweak them after some more riding but now I can ride pain free.

I built an ebike out of a 2020 Giant Talon 3 MTB and a Bafang BBS02 kit I bought from Amazon. The install went smoothly without only a few minor mods that needed to be done. The stock handlebars had me hunching over more than I would like because it was not so comfortable. I rode a Rad Power electric bike I rented in Long Beach (CA) and it was designed to be upright which felt so more comfortable and enjoyable of a ride, so I wanted to do something about it with my bike. I saw these handlebars on Amazon which have a 90 mm rise which is a 3.5 inch increase in rise. It was easy to install. I rode it right after installing and the difference was night and day. A significant increase in upright posture and comfort. I think the rise is enough now but I may buy off Amazon a stem extender just to raise the handle bars a couple more inches. Not necessary but may add a bit more comfort. If I was purely mountain biking I would have left the stock flat-bars because for mountain biking you want a more aggressive posture but for me I am street riding or light off road trails so this helps a lot. I enjoy my ride a lot more now. Now the bike is almost as comfortable as the Rad Power bike I rented and I think with an added stem extender it will be, but as I said it isn't necessary because it is very comfortable now although later I may try a stem extender. Later I may add a photo of before and after if I can add pics post review. I highly recommend this mod to anyone who wants to increase one's upright riding posture. Oh and delivery using Prime was fast. Got it in a couple days.

Wanted to make my Specialized pitch mtb a bit more comfy for this 55 year old back. The 3-1/2” rise did wonders replacing the original straight bars. Did the trick and looks great! Lightweight and quality bars!! Highly recommend to anyone that wants to make their bike more of a comfort cruiser.
