This is my second raised panel bit because I work with a lot of hardwoods, Oak, Hickory, etc. This bit stays sharp so I am able to complete all my projects very easily.

Bought this for matching some existing doors. It might be the smoothest router bit I've ever used, and I have used a lot. Very sharp. Cut red oak like butter.

The ship has landed, WOW what a great bit. The noise is so loud, you think the fire trucks are coming. In a table base set up the blades are on an angle and sound like a fire engine siren. The angle is great for ease of cutting and also pulls the wood down onto the table. Typical strait bits let the wood rise up if not cutting fast enough. I would recommend this bit to anybody doing raised panels with a router. I would mount it to a table though.
