My freind had this for his home office and i felt it was very comfortable so i bought one for myself. I dont regret it at all easy to put together seems sturdy and i am comfortable while i am sewing. The only thing the gray back that basically used for decoration i guess had a crack in it on one of the bars but i decided to keep it cause it has no interference with the performance of the chair

Fácil de montar pero de niña mis pies no tocan el suelo, sentarse en una silla con ruedas cuando no se puede tocar el suelo es complicado. La altura mínima es de 56 cm, pero los pies pueden descansar sobre la base o sobre el aro cromado. Quité las ruedas y las reemplacé con patas bajas de los muebles FOH para poder ser más bajo.

Ordered first chair September. Came as scheduled, but box beaten up. Stapled instructions were missing the middle two steps, had to get those online. After assembly the chair wouldn’t stay all the way up, kept dropping 1-2 inches when I sat (I weigh 165-170#, so well within chair tolerance). Emailed Modway per Amazon instructions on 9/30. They never responded (still). After a week of waiting contacted Amazon Customer Service who sent out a replacement, which never arrived. Contacted Amazon again and they expedited a second replacement. Second replacement arrived when scheduled, but box was broken open, sealed with a single piece of cheap tape and styrofoam packing inside was broken into pieces. This time instructions stapled started at step 7. The first chair assembled easily, second chair was difficult. Two of the castors would not fit, literally had to pound them very hard, repeatedly. Screws didn’t fit either, more than half were very difficult to turn most of the way to tightening. And second chair drops 1-2 inches when I sit (same problem as first). Summary: Poor quality, nonexistent customer service. Also both chairs had a crease/flaw in grey seat cushion.

The Modway Edge Drafting chair is very easy to assemble, manufactured with good materials and is very ergonomic. I bought this chair since it can be raised to the bar height table that I use as my desk at home. I replaced the original casters it came with for aftermarket casters that won't harm or scratch wood flooring. By zooming into the 4th picture, you'll be able to identify the brand of the aftermarket castors or wheels. Overall I am pleased with the ease of assembly. It came with all the hardware with one of each additional, just in case one became lost plus the tools, an Allen wrench. My only negative comment is that the seat is not mesh designed and made of faux leather which can feel hot after sitting for long periods of time. Definitely, though, a good chair to keep you warm in the winter. Of course, if you need the warmth, this chair would be fine. The breathable mesh backing keeps your back cool. This chair is designed to provide good lumbar support for ones back. I rate the lumber support a 3 out of a possible 5, because as with other lumber support products, I feel the lumbar support feature could be desogned closer the tailbone. But, overall I am very happy that I bought the chair.

I had a high desk that I had for the last for years been using an uncomfortable, but tolerable, drafting char as a desk chair. It recently broke and I set out to find another chair to use, but that more similar to a desk chair (adjustable back, arms that move, etc).I had found this chair (and a few similar ones) on amazon, and eliminated some because there were no, or mostly poor, reviews. I was left between this and one other. I ultimately settled on this because I'm a bigger guy (6'1. 250-ish lbs) and the other chairs weight capacity was 250lbs, and I didn't want to push it.The reviews on this almost scared me off, they were all over the place. People complaining about the directions, the quality, fitment, materials, etc. If I'm about to drop 150+ bucks on a chair, I want it to work and be easy to assemble, and comfortable. So I took a chance.And I'm glad I did. The chair arrived at my door today and 11:20, and it's 11:42 right now as I write this... sitting in my chair. The directions where super simple and easy to understand (I've had way harder times with ikea things).. The quality is great, assembly was super easy, and I'm not all that handy (attaching the chair back to the seat took about 2 minutes of patience, but it wasn't hard).. The adjustments work great, the seat and back are super comfy. The foot rail is adjustable so I could match it to the height I needed which is awesome. Plus - it looks great.I'll update my review if it changes, but I'm super glad I pulled the trigger on this.. Not sure of some of the reviews were old, more frustration than review, or if the company improved Quality Control.. but it's great, and I would say if you have any hesitancy, don't worry. You'll be fine!

I purchased this chair because I was in need of a chair that would sit at the right height for a new drafting table I had acquired. Though I am not an architect, I am a graphic designer who loves to draw for fun. After discovering that the drafting table sits (way) higher than a normal desk, I quickly began searching for drafting chairs. I was new to the product market and was unaware of what was a good brand in the drafting world. Thus, I bought this chair.I was a little skeptical because the negative reviews are not encouraging. After a week and a half of owning it, I have not encountered any functional problems with my chair thus far. Cosmetically, the mesh material on the backrest was ripped upon opening it. I have yet to attempt to contact the seller, so I will update my review after I have exhausted my efforts.What I like most about it:- Chair height: - perfect for my drafting table (#1 reason for purchase) - Drafting table is about 33.5 inches tall - Lowest chair height: 23-24 inches tall - Max chair height: 29-30 inches tall- Comfortable: - can sit for hours with easy (no pain) - footstool works well (can adjust height) - can recline and lock seat position - armrests flip up (they do not adjust up or down)- Strong & Sturdy - feels like a good quality product - one that will (hopefully) last a good while- Easy Assembly - took about 10-15 mins- Looks greatWhat I don't like about it: (what kept it from a 5-star review)- The mesh material on backrest was ripped upon arrival

This chair is very comfortable chair,it arrived very quickly,and was very easily to assemble.The chair has good height adjustment and is good for a high table or standing table,although at the high setting it rolles away quite easily when you go to sit on it,so you have to be careful when you sit in it.
