after four or five months the veneer separated, caught on my trouser leg, and broke off. blick art materials (the seller) refused to replace or refund. what a waste of money.

This chair is in a natural (not black) finish. I wanted and thought that I was ordering the black version. After looking around a bit they evidently sell a Blue option as well but it the product page uses the same photo of the Black painted version. It is stated on each respective page it's actual "color" but it's misleading to show a different colored product (black and not natural in this case). 4 stars instead of 5 because the photo shows Black wood and not natural wood.I'm going to keep it though because I need the chair now and it's too much hassle to return it. It IS a beautiful chair though in spite of it not being my color/finish preference. Very functional, easy to assemble and feels like it will last for many, many years.
