I purchased this slider to replace one that snapped in half while cleaning my Moen 30” slider bar. It was the exact match and arrived one day after ordering. While it was a relatively easy installation, the piece didn’t come with instructions. Included in the box is a replacement slider and toggle bolt (in case there’s no wall stud). You’ll need a flat head screwdriver and optional caulk and a caulk gun (if desired). The entire process should take no more than 15 minutes.First, take note of the positioning of the slider you’re replacing (button up) as you won’t be able to change it once fully installed with the toggle bolt. To remove the original slider, you will need to remove the bottom of the bar from the shower wall. To do this, remove the circular cap at the bottom of the bar by using your fingernails and pulling it straight out.Once the cap is removed, you can remove the original bolt using your screwdriver. After the bottom of the bar is removed from the wall, you can remove the wall attachment piece and carefully slide the original slider down and remove it from the bar.Now you can install the new slider but make sure you double check its positioning (button facing up). Once it’s where you want it, connect the the wall attachment piece to the bar and insert the new bolt through it. While gently holding the attachment away from the wall, thread the winged toggle onto the bolt. You’ll want to screw it on where the mouth faces the bar (away from the shower wall). You’ll also want to screw it up at least 5 threads on the bolt (see attached picture). Now, carefully close the toggle onto the screw and insert it into the hole in the shower wall.Tighten the bolt with your screwdriver and make sure it’s flush and tight against the wall. Replace the circular cap and caulk it against your tile if desired. You can see a video on Moen’s website on installing the bar if you need a visual reference. Hopefully this helps!

The rose-colored brushed nickel finish was unavailable, so I used components from the chrome version to repair mine. A small plastic piece was broken in my case (see photos). Disassembly was simple with a few small screwdrivers. Use the new plastic part, and your old unit will perform like new. You must remove and replace the bottom side of the old shower holder to complete the component swap.

I was a little nervous this wouldn't be the same as the orginal. But it is the exact same pieces inside. A plastic piece inside the same version of this but in brushed nickel broke on my shower. I bought this for 19 bucks as opposed to the brushed nickel going for 48-80. I simply took it apart and replaced the parts that weren't brushed nickel.

This part arrived quickly and was exactly what I needed. The quality was better than expected and it took about 3 minutes to install with only a Phillips head.

When this piece broke on my shower I was at first dismayed at how much it would be to replace it if I ordered it right from Moen, then I found it here and was overjoyed it was going to be such a better value. This is a genuine Moen replacement part and is the high quality I expect. It was extremely easy to install and now my shower is as good as new.

I thought that being a Moen it would work with my Moen handheld shower handle but the holder part was too small to support the shower handle. Returned it but I’m out shipping charges both ways.

Easy enough to install, just removed the set screws holding the bar on and took off the old and slid the new one in place. Works great with any standard shower head.
