Not the highest quality but I’m not doing scientific research with it. I just need a general idea of hardness and for that it seems fine. Not that I’m saying it’s not accurate it may be just not confident that it is scientifically accurate based on the feel and design.

This is a quality product and totally adequate for comparing the hardness of different materials. As far as accurate accuracy, I can not comment, but it certainly accurately can compare harnesses between race tires, which was my need.,
