Item:Moman Wireless HDMI Transmitter and Receiver Portable HDMI Wireless with LED Screen 50m/164FT, HDMI Wireless Extender to Monitor from PC/TV Box,Wireless-HDMI-Transmitter-Receiver-Extender (LED Screen(50m))Intro:The video has two discrepancies:If you have a laptop with an ethernet port, you could try and update the firmware on this device. The default is 1080P, it lists other resolutions.Pros:-Works without chopping (see cons).-Easy to setup. Physically make sure the transmitter and receiver are plugged in the correct direction. They should come paired out of the box, but if they aren't then just press the button on the receiver, then on the transmitter and they should be connected.-Picture and audio quality is good.-Comes with 1 USB-C to HDMI converter, 1 mini to full HDMI adapter, 1 micro HMDI to full HDMI adapter, and 2 USB-A to USB-C power cables.Cons:-If the signal is interrupted it will chop the video/audio.-Absolutely not for gaming. There will be a delay in your controls, and its very noticeable. Trust me on this.-Does not come with two 5V/2A USB power bricks. These are not your normal USB bricks. These are 2 amp bricks, which are high powered. So you just have to have these already. Newer versions of HDMI (2.1b and greater) can supply some power, which can work for the transmitter but not the receiver. At minimum your gonna need 1 power brick (just assume that your going to need both).-Only comes with 1 extra HDMI extension cable. This is a problem because maybe your TV and your laptop is cramped, and because the USB-C power cable pokes out of the device on the side, you won't be able to access your ports (see video).-Kind of hard to update the firmware. So how you have to update the firmware, is you plug in the receiver, connect to the receiver's WiFi on your laptop, Pull up the website, connect your laptop to an ethernet cable so you can use google translate to translate the site from chinese to english. Then on the website, tell the receiver to connect to your houses WiFi network so the HDMI receiver can get internet. Then you can update.-If you do brick the device, there is no way to recover. The manufacturer doesn't have a way for you to re-flash the device. The manual states to press the button on the side for 15 seconds. I pressed mine for 30 seconds multiple times, nothing.Other Thoughts:-Model: CHD04-HD-TX/RX-Website: momanx dot c0m.-In the options in the menu, there were options to update to operate under different resolutions. Like 4k @ 30fps and other resolutions @ 60fps.-To be honest this technology is pretty cool by far. Its essentially transmits video and audio through air which is nothing short of just straight magic. And doing all this with a pretty small package.-I think just the overall attention to detail is lacking a little with this product. Not defaulting to english website or at minimum have language preference dropdown, not including the extra HDMI extender, No proper company labeling on product, no mention of website or address on product or manual.

After having this unit for a couple of months now, these are my thoughts on how I've found it performs:Things I liked:+ It was really easy to set up initially and I've had no connexion problems since. It's very much plug and play going from one to the other.+ I've used it with a few different devices. It works fine with my laptop computer and DVD player to name a couple. It works absolutely fine with both. One thing I didn't anticipate is how easy it is to disconnect and then reconnect different sources to a single HDMI port. What I mean is that you can have the receiver plugged in the back of the TV and then it's very easy to transfer the transmitter from one device to another depending on what you want being sent to that HDMI port on the TV.+ It's extremely portable and in my particular use case (basic use in the home over short distances of around 10 to 15 metres max, with only light walls in the way), the transmission performance is absolutely fine for both audio and video.Things I didn't like:- While the lag isn't particularly bad, I don't think this is a great use for gaming, which requires very little input lag. The small amount of lag that this introduces, while not an issue at all for simple video playback etc, isn't great when you and your controller is actually responding to what you see on screen.- The p[rice (£100 after vouchers) is high considering the build quality. That's not to say the build quality is terrible at all, but it's probably not quite what I would expect for a product that is being sold at £100.Do I recommend it?Yes, particularly if it's in the £50-£80 range. It's effective and more convenient than running cables.

This was easy to get connected from a laptop to a TV or monitor. The audio and video both work on the receiving monitor. I intend to use this on our car DVD player using a tablet or laptop, so our kids can have some entertainment on long roadtrips. Then I won't have to worry about swapping DVDs and I can just stream my offline movies for the kids to watch. When using my cell phone, it displayed really squished on the monitor instead of filling out the screen. That's unfortunate because it would be handy to be able to transmit my phone display to a monitor using this. I tried two different Pixel 8 Pro's connected to an HDMI port on a TV.

This is cool way to transmit your power point, watch movie to an lcd or tv wirelessly. I came across this product and was surprise that I don't need to put my laptap close to either lcd or tv to connect. I can place it convinienlty anywhere and functions as screen mirror wirelessly on a pc.

This wireless hdmi transmitter is awesome. Used it with my phone, tablet , and laptop. Was able to stream to TV screen for presentations and movies. Easy plug and play. Didn't see any quality issues on the screen, and latency was quick and almost 1 to 1.Love that i can fit these in my pocket and take them with me on the go.

Easy installation, versatile switching, good quality:This product is very convenient in its design - firstly, it's very easy to install and only takes a few seconds to get the picture set up via the wireless connection. Secondly, the built in switching button allows you to mirror or extend the displays with the push of a button - with the extended display being ideal while working and requiring a second monitor and the mirror display being convenient when playing a movie or similar from your laptop onto a larger screen. The product's video quality has also been pretty high and provides a smooth picture and clear audio.Overall, this is a good product and I would recommend.

I am pleased with the performance of this wireless HDMI adapter. I simply wanted a way to extend my laptop I use for work to a nearby TV and use it for Teams or Zoom meetings and also extra workspace. I have a USB-C dock connected to my laptop and this HDMI adapter plugged into the dock. I didn't observe any lagginess or problems, even with streamed videos. I was really impressed!

Works pretty well. You do neet to power both of them through a USB port. Also sometimes it will go to sleep mode automatically.

This is quite a niche device in the days of streaming or casting over Wi-Fi however there are some scenarios where this type of HDMI transmitter can prove very useful. This device reminds me of the old days of wireless SCART transmitter/receivers when DVD players and set top boxes were still expensive and were a good way to watch in another room. Although you could use this for that purpose it is missing a crucial feature of those old versions in that there is no infrared repeater to allow you to transmit the IR signal from the remote control, meaning you will have to start/stop playback at the source device.I see this as much more geared towards an office/conference room setup where Wi-Fi access might not be easy and where the 1080P resolution is plenty and the noticeable lag time is not an issue. This product is certainly capable of transmitting full HD video well but gaming is a complete no-no as the lag time makes it impossible.Priced at £130 (£150 with £20 voucher) at time of review I have to say this feels very overpriced for what it is, even if it works well.

I have a relatively simple use-case, I just wanted to connect my cable box to my TV and get rid of the unsightly cables. The cable box is very close to the TV. Plugged the RX unit into the TV and the TX unit into the cable box, plugged power into the USB C port in both units, 20 seconds later after the two units synced up, the hi-def picture was on the TV screen and there was zero lag and the audio synced up perfectly with the video. Zero problems. It's so nice when Something works this well right off the bat. WOuld definitely recommend.
