Overall if you buy it on sale less than $30 it is worth it, but arrived with one broken figure like the previous reviewer stated, and 2 figures with oversprayed paint. I would rate the quality a C grade, does not come with adapter but an adapter for Carole Towne would work.

I love Christmas villages and this was going to be such a fun addition. It's super cute and very unique for a more eclectic village. I was hoping that the other reviews would be wrong or it wouldn't be that noticeable, but the execution of this one just isn't very good. Poor paint job and messed up figurines. Still cute of you have a big village and would be able to hide it in the larger scene, but it's not made to be looked at too closely.

I have a huge, elaborate Christmas village that I have set up for years. Some of the pieces are from before I was born. This one will make a great addition. I took a star away because one of the trees and little people on the top of the building came unglued or broke off or whatever during shipping. I assume during shipping. Couldn't have been glued on very well because it was packaged VERY well. I can reglue it, but some work will have to be done to it to get the old glue off in order for it to look right because it is a VERY thick layer of glue. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this purchase. It does not come with batteries or a DC plug, but I have many of the plugs laying around. It works great. The music is annoying, but that's to be expected with Christmas stuff. Who doesn't love an obnoxious Christmas song coming out of every decoration.
