I liked the sturdiness of this ladder but the weight of the ladder at its fully extended length is tounwieldy to handle by one person. I'm having to make a device to lift this ladder up when fully extended. It also compacts down to just under 5feet 3 inches by my measuring tape. The cross bases at each of the ends are plenty wide for decent side to side stability. The locking mechanisms seem very reliable and are pretty easy to use if you use them correctly, which I had to learn after not doing it right the first time. I prefer this rigid section style better than the vertical collapsible type when going up this high, it doesn't sag as much as those in the middle section.

EDIT: SAVE YOUR BOX IT CAME IN!! Costs $55+ for a box. Okay, I've been climbing ladder half of my life. U have no problems with most ladders until today. This ladder is not the topical ladder. This is made for small adults and kids.I am 5'11 225 pound male. I opened the ladder fully and put it against the home I was working on. I noticed quickly how narrow the sides of the ladder was. It looks like six or more inches closer together the sides are compared to most ladders. The second thing was that this ladder wabbles left and right, inward and outward. You have to practically put your legs together to climb this thing. Made me nervous going half way up and that never happened before.I am returning this ladder because it's not safe in my mind. EDIT: I'm not returning it now because of having to buy a $58+ S/H box. Unbelievable.
