Looking for a begginers monocular or just a affordable pair this is the option of recommend after trying this monocular Telescope...its a full set with attachable lens covers ,lens cleaning cloth, attachable carry strap and even a carry case to keep it protected in travel bag perhaps? Its durable material even makes it a good option for kids , the focus can be difficult at first but when you get the right adjustment you get a quality image which was easier for me to do honestly with the included phone attachment which allows for viewing the monocular image with the Telescope attached to the phone camera..💯

I bought these on with a coupon code for $10. I wasn't expecting the high quality. They are made with durable materials and work very well. The monocular came with two straps, a cleaning cloth, a durable case, and a phone attachment. Also has a place to put on monopod or tripod. The phone attachment was easy to use. Just took a couple minutes to adjust. It's easier to attach it to the phone first. Then to the monocular. I attached it to a monopod to video, and it was amazing. I was surprised at the quality of the video from a distance. One of the best deals I've had on amazon.

The Cammoo Monocular comes in a sturdy, good looking box. It can be used for storage and you can take it along for a walk - just adjust the provided strap to carry it in your hand or on the shoulder. The device is well-made, the body (made of plastic or polymer) looks good and solid. It's said to be "IPX7 Fog & Waterproof", which means it has a pretty good protection against water and moisture and unknown level of protection against dust. This is now a common level of protection for outdoor electronics. The cover cap for the front lens is attached to the monocular with a rubber ring, potentially can slip away if you're not careful. The protective cap for the eyepiece is on its own, but it has a loop so I put it on the handheld strap to make sure I won't lose it on a trail. The manual is OK, but not comprehensive. It says nothing about how to attach the hand-held strap and misses on couple other minor things. The Cammoo gives a crystal crisp picture, I really liked it! The view-port is not too large - looking at some object from 36 yards away my view-port was just about 10 by 10 feet, so dealing with moving objects "target acquisition" might be a bit of a challenge. I think this monocular is better suited for static objects. I had fun looking at an owl sitting on a branch, the clarity was very good. You tune it in by turning the focus knob. Right-handed people can use an index finger while holding the monocular in the right hand. Left-handed are at disadvantage - someone with a good dexterity may learn how to use a thumb, if not help with other hand, or perhaps turn it so the focus knob is on the top and lose the strap (see the pictures).I had some issue with the smart phone attachment and my older Samsung phone. I’m sure some 13-year-old kid would make it work in seconds, but I prefer a camera anyway. The biggest disappointment was a hand-held strap. The pad is actually good, but the strap with a small plastic fastener refuses to stay where you want it - it loosens every minute and I had to tighten it up many while walking on a trail. In the end I like the monocular, but I’m a bit disappointed that they made a good optical device and failed where things should be really easy! It should not be difficult to make a good, reliable strap with a dependable fastener. To make it even better the manufacturer may consider making the monocular ambidextrous, with regard to the hand-held strap. Little things can be very important.UPDATE:Two days after posting this review I was contacted by the Cammoo Customer service. They seem genuinely concerned about keeping customers happy, to the point of replacing the item with a new one if this is what it takes. I don’t need a replacement, but I think this is very important, so I am increasing my rating to 5 stars.

This monocle is perfect for hunting or as a lightweight substitution for a spotting scope at the range. The glass quality was excellent with no distortion. And it's light enough that when strapped to your hand can be carried without being a bother. There was a slight challenge with getting a stable picture when looking through it. The fact that it is so light means that the smallest movement of your arm or hand causes the eyepiece to move. This may frustrate those who find it challenging to hold their bodies completely still. Also, because of this the use of this monocle on a boat would be futile.All-in all this will satisfy the needs of 85 out of 100 people. Birdwatchers, nosy neighbors and people using it to spot their shots up to 75 yards out will find this item works well!

I have a $600 Spotting Scope that I use on hunts when i travel, but I wanted something smaller to use on my 80 acres for spotting, etc when not on the "Hunt" (and although I have a really nice set of professional Binoculars from the 60's that cost my Dad as much as a car back then - and are insanely amazing - they weigh a ton and I am afraid to carry them in the woods for fear of damage) ...OK, so for the price, I am completely impressed. Solid feel, and other than a bit of blurring or distortion around the far perimeter at full magnification, these are pretty darn good out to about 100yds for detail, and maybe 300 for spotting. Field is narrow (as expected) but all in all, they are solid and optically pretty darn nice for the $$. Low-Light is so-so (as with most inexpensive optics) but no shadowing, etc - just the typical reduction expected. For the $$ - a solid 5 stars. Given the peripheral distortion, regardless of price I have to knock off a star, sorry.
