I hesitated for a long time before buying this food waste disposer because the one we had at home before was quite old and often got stuck or made weird noises. However, this product truly impressed me.First of all, installation was very simple. I just followed the steps in the manual, and it didn’t take much time at all.After using this disposer, managing kitchen waste became much more efficient. Every day, I can easily dispose of vegetable peels, fruit cores, leftover food, etc., just by pressing the button. It’s especially convenient when I finish eating fruits or vegetables or when I cook—no need to go all the way to the trash can anymore. It really saves time and hassle.Additionally, I’m really pleased with its noise level. Although it’s not completely silent, it’s much quieter compared to the disposer I used before, and it barely affects daily life. Also, the disposer handles most kitchen waste very well, and I haven’t encountered any issues like getting stuck or spinning endlessly.What impressed me the most is the product’s consistent quality. I’ve been using it for a few months now and haven’t had any problems at all. Overall, this disposer is perfect for home use—easy to clean, time-saving, and efficient. I don't know what I was expecting, but this unit is much larger in person than I anticipated. The instructions say not to put it under an overhead counter, but I struggle to imagine the kitchen with that much space between the lower and upper counters.When the unit arrives you'll need to add carbon to the reusable filter pack in the back, and you'll need to add the compost enzymes in, along with 600ml of water, then let the unit run for a full day before using it. I bring this up because that means you'll need to replace carbon pellets and enzyme starters down the line. This unit does not exist in a cost-free way a simple compost container on your counter might. The trade off is odor control, automation, and an end product that is ready to be used as fertilizer with no extra steps.I'm looking forward to seeing the impact this makes on our trash output, as well as our plants' and yard's health. The unit seems well made, but I did see many negative reviews about things like leaking, odors, etc. It's too soon to tell on my end, but if anything unexpected pops up I will update this review with that information.
