This fit up perfectly. The engine started immediately, and runs perfect. The only discrepancy I saw at all, (may possibly be because my 170S carb is from 2009), was the new one had a screw adjustment, very near where the carb meets the engine, and the old one was a factory set type jet. I left the new one where it was set at, and no problem at all.

Put this carb on my cub cadet 2X 524SWE Snow Blower. Pushed Primer bulb 2 times and machine started on the first pull and ran great with the choke completely open! I didn't have to adjust anything internal. Nice little carb for 9 bucks!!!!!!!

Purchased for a craftsman snow blower. This whole unit was cheaper than buying just the bowl oring. I was just gonna rob parts but when it came it’s the exact same one that’s on it to begin with.Installed it. 2 pulls it was running.Zero complaints.
