This unit works well for OEM replacement. Usually fixes hard starting older motors. Make sure yours looks exactly like the original and it should work. I've had no problems with it. Make sure to match the choke extension with your old unit before ordering

Put the carb on the snow thrower, hooked up the gas line, and the bowl of the carb leaked like a sieve. Checked for tightness of the bowl mounting screw and it was tight. So, took off the bowl, (while kind of standing on my head), saw nothing wrong, remounted it, and it again leaked. Did it a second time, and it leaked around the mounting screw gasket. Tightened the screw to the max, and voila, it stopped leaking. I surmise that the original leak was due to the "o-ring" gasket not being mounted right at the factory, but not sure. Would have given this 5 stars if it hadn't leaked. Engine started on second pull.PS: In the last week, the following has happened. This first order for this item was lost. The next was late. And the third was late. Another item ordered was also late. Seems to be the latest pattern for Amazon deliveries.

Bought this for my mother in laws snow blower. Installed very quickly and easy. And fixed the problem. Blower runs perfect. Would definitely recommend and buy again
