Seems ok. You feel it a little when you put it on but it's not too heavy. I wear it under my motorcycle jacket and it makes it a little hotter overall but not too bad. The size chart indicated I needed a extra large (I'm 6'2 188 lbs) but it's a tad big and probably could have been a better fit with a large but it's not unreasonable. A few cinche straps would be nice to customize the fit but it's ok overall. The force to activate the inflation is around 75 lbs I think. It came with the plunger cocked and was ready to screw in a CO2 cartridge. To replace the cartridge you unscrew the bottom bolt to release the pressure on the plunger spring. Slid the plunger back down into place which should not require any force if you have unscrewed the bolt to remove tension on the spring. Then replace the ball pin into the slot on the plunger. After that just screw the bolt on the bottom back in to compress the plunger spring again. Then screw in the new C02 cartridge and you're good to go. I replaced the cable tether with a 80 lbs tensile strength string so I could customize the length and tied my tether string to a Quick Discount mount then bolted the mount receiver on to the bike so I can quickly and securely plug in or remove my tether. I mounted the mount receiver to the bike right below my seat so it just goes slightly taunt when I put my feet down and stand up. This way my tether is only a few inches long and not a hazard. Overall the vest and set up seems ok. Hopefully it all works as anticipated. Hopefully I won't need to find out. Good luck and safe ridding!
