The heat shield is nice however two of the hose clamps are too small for the fatty pipes on both my mxc 200 ktm an yz250,Not the end of the world but it needs two longer hose clamps

Looks good fits my bike great came fast and holds up well in the dirt rocks and roost only thing is the paint fades kinda fast.

Lost its blue color after 15 min of riding. Sits so close to exhaust it really does nothing to dissipate heat.

So first off I had to cut this to make it the correct length for my Suzuki RMZ 250. I run a yoshimura RS4 full titanium exhaust setup and got a little bit of a ding on the pipe so I figured I would get something to cover that up and so I wouldn't get any more dings. the key to getting this to fit properly is you have to place it on the pipe and bend each part around very tightly. Then to finish it I used a screwdriver with a soft rubber handle, pressing the handle to get leverage on the tabs to bend them as tight around the pipe as I could possibly get them. As you can see in the picture I use three steel zip ties to secure it. It doesn't move and is very tight but I haven't ridden it yet to see if there will be noise and vibration that it makes. I would prefer it if there was some type of heat resistant padding to go between this and the pipe but I don't know if there's anything like that that exists as these pipes get extremely hot and may melt anything that's not metal. I think it looks fairly decent and hopefully it lasts and does its job and keeps the red color. If it doesn't I'll have to take it off and respray it with some red anodized spray paint.*********UPDATE**********1 month later and the color has almost completely faded. Worried that if I pull it off do paint it, it won't go back on as tight again. : (
