Nice pants, especially for the money. They breathe nicely.

Was very excited to see some moto pants in my size so i got the 5xl shows to be 48. I can fit into some 46in pants but even with liner removed I couldn't get these past my thighs. The groin to top of pants seems short as well. It's a big let down too as the pants feel like a quality item. Protection feels good and even has thigh pads. Very breathable and the cold weather line was well made and a bonus I didn't expect. I shall have to keep looking but if your smaller this might be a great option for starter gear.

I typically wear 36 x 32 "relaxed fit" pants off the shelf (I'm not a slim build -- bigger legs and hind end); I ordered the "Large" size on these and they fit well. (I like my "regular" pants looser fitting , but these fit snug, which I like for moto pants. I don't think these would fit a true 38 waist unless you had a slim build at that size. The liner appears to be non-breathable seam sealed coated nylon -- great for blocking wind and rain. It zips on place at the waist and has two snap/loop stays at each ankle.Without the liner, the venting looks like it will work well in the summer -- thighs and lower leg vents too. We'll try that out this summer.Leg shape is articulated to fit well while on the bike, but not so much that it's awkward or uncomfortable off the bike.It has a slide buckle and a snap closure at the waist that keeps them on securely; it has a front zipper with "fly liner" that would necessitate pulling down your pants a little to pee. Adjustable velcro waist adjusters to snug everything down. Also has a zipper to attach pants to jacket -- it fits my Fieldsheer and Wicked Stock jackets.Hip armor is hardly noticeable when wearing. The knee armor is a little stiff. Feels a little low when standing, but just right in the riding position. (Zipper pockets are there so you can remove/replace the armor if you wish). The seam stitching is very good, and the materials "feel" and look good. Outside fabric and mesh lining are good. Looks are obviously very subjective, but they look even better in person than in the pictures to me. I'm sure brands like Klim are objectively "better" ... but for the price, these seem hard to beat.

I have a 34" waist, 29' inseam, and ordered a medium. (claimed 36" waist, 29.5" inseam) I couldn't get the pants on with the waterproof liners, and barely got them on without! The knee pads are a little low also, i have to hitch the pants up so the knee pads fit over my knees. If you can get them to fit, they look like pretty nice pants.
