I have used this charger on a Mototrbo 6550.It charges as expected and as described.For the price it has a very good value.

I use the Motorola APX series radios at work and only have the multi charging 6 bank chargers in the supply room. Thus, at some of our stations, the battery will deplete over a few hours.These single unit chargers works exactly as it's supposed to and charges by radio or just the battery itself from red to green within a short amount of time.Convenience is what I always go for and these works exactly as I expected them to.

I got this with the hope that it would be an smart charger, and I was disappointed when I received it. The charger is labeled as IMPRES and even has a sticker with the IMPRES feature on it. I tried charging multiple different genuine Motorola batteries on this charger and was unable to get the smart features to work.While it still charges the batteries just fine, I would not rely on this charger to do all of the features that an original charger will do.

The only difference I can tell between this and the name brand charger, is these don't have the Motorola "M" on the round button behind the charging port. Aside from that difference, they look the exact same. Same stickers, same light indicators with the same meanings. It's a great replacement option if you're looking for one. I'm using mine in the oilfield so it's not treated kindly, and these things are doing a great job. I'll update if they bite the dust or something crazy happens.

Almost an exact clone of the Motorola brand charger. Feels well made.I use it on my desk to charge my radio and my battery is full every day with no issues.
