Is not waterproof and when it does get wet takes forever to dry. The material is not soft and is uncomfortable

If you’re between sizes, size down. This would be perfect if I was a size down. Give the shell shape by pulling in those elastics. I pulled a lot to get some shape. Again, size down. I did glue in the anchored side of the elastics to make sure they don’t come out. The shell is crinkly sounding. All that said, I’m not returning. This is a great product for the price and I do recommend it!

Fabulous jacket for the money. Sadly, I underestimated my size and needed to get a larger one! Was surprised to see I could change it at a Mountain Warehouse store, which I did - swapped for one that fits!!

A great jacket. I ordered size 12, my usual size, but found it just too snug. There was no larger size available unfortunately. It is great quality and very smart

This runs big and I had to send the first one back and order another. I ordered it to take on an Alaskan cruise which would have been perfect with the weather changes, but unfortunately it did not arrive in time for me to take it even though I ordered it a week ahead and contacted the company twice. Very slow service. I do like the coat though. It is very warm when used with the fleece liner which can be used separately. It is well made and of quality material. It is very versatile and can be used three ways as well as having a hood. I got the purple and it is a true purple. Did not like the other color options.

I gave this a 5-star rating even though it was a little too big on me. I bought it for a road trip in Ireland where the weather can be warm when you get in the car and rainy and cold when you get out. The jacket compacted well in my suitcase and was easy to travel with. I unzipped the liner and wore it with just the shell and used it with the fleece on cold windy days. Really, like the longer length and the hood stayed up. I plan on wearing it as my dog walking jacket. I had one similar to this one for over 20 years and really liked the versatility of the jacket. I found other jackets that were very similar but were over a 100 dollars, too much for a jacket that I might lose on a trip. I was pleasantly surprised with the quick delivery and even more so that I really like the jacket and plan on using it on a regular basis. It is going to Europe with me in the fall!

I had high hopes for this jacket but found as other reviews have mentioned that it has some flaws. First, it does not have a 2-way zipper; perhaps older models did, but the one I received today did not. Also, it does definitely run large, but I don't think it would have been a good fit even in a smaller size. It fits suspiciously like a men's jacket, not a women's. The arms are weirdly long, and the shoulders and torso area are quite roomy compared to the hips. Also, there is no drawstring to tighten to give it some shape. It does seem to be well made though, and quite warm for the weight. (But I think it's a men's jacket).

I love this jacket. I was amazed at the quality for the price. Being a three in one is so handy. A couple of weeks ago I traveled to the UK and carried this as my only jacket. On days that were a little chilly, I just wore the fleece. On the few rainy days I added the outer layer. Another reviewer complained about the velcro of the outer layer wrecking her clothes. I was thankful for that heads up, and removed the bottom-most piece that would catch on my clothes while walking. It worked great. I didn't have a problem. Another reviewer mentioned that the sleeved were too snug when both pieces were worn together. I kind of understand that, but found by holding my cuff when donning the jacket it was fine. I know the jacket will continue to be very useful during the Autumn months and on milder Winter days. It won't take the place of my down parka, but I didn't expect that. I'm very glad I purchased this jacket. Great value.

The pros:-Very warm and cozy fleece lining. It's soft, fairly thick, and feels pretty high quality. I get cold easily, but this coat has kept me comfortable.-Velcro layer over the zipper to keep water out-Nice deep zippered pockets. I can safely slide my phone into them and not worry about it getting jolted out when I'm walking quickly.-I like roomy coats so the fact that this runs big means it fits how I like, with room to layer. Even with the fleece liner in, I can fit it over a sweater.-It's not too puffy or bulky. I can comfortably bend my arms without the material getting in the way like thicker jackets. The cons:-The sizing runs large, and frankly I kind of suspect it's a men's jacket. (It certainly has men sized pockets.) I checked the sizing chart on the Mountain Warehouse website, concluded I probably wanted an 8, but read the reviews and went with a 6 instead. I'm 5'5'' with a thinnish build and this coat is still plenty roomy on me. I think an 8 definitely would have been too big.-The water resistance could be better. While it handles a drizzle just fine, more than fifteen minutes in steady rain and water starts to be absorbed. I would not feel comfortable leaving my phone in one of the outside pockets walking in the rain for long. Not a coat for Seattle weather, unfortunately for me, so I guess I'll have to pair it with an umbrella. This would probably be excellent for snow though.-The fleece lining is fastened in the sleeves with a single snap that fastens onto an elastic cord. This means that the fleece sleeves have a couple inches of free movement even when fastened, so they always come about an inch out of the shell's sleeves when I put the coat on.-The hood is pretty thin and light, and it doesn't sit still on its own if you move at a brisk walk unless you use the pullcord to tighten the mouth. This doesn't play well with my glasses, which don't fit comfortably with the tightened hood.I realize my list of cons looks longer than my pros, but this is still a four star review because it's a warm, comfortable coat made from quality feeling materials. As long as you don't make my mistake of trying to use it as a raincoat, you'll probably be pretty satisfied, and it's hard to beat fifty dollars for a 3 in 1 coat.

I love this jacket! I've had it now for a few months, I wanted to make sure I truly liked it. I got it monogrammed as soon as it arrived. It's so versatile. I've worn it all three ways. It definitely shields you from the elements. Great so far for fall and winter wear. My only hangup is the velcro at times, occasionally it snags my clothes. The hood is not lined but it still protects very well.i like the draw strings which gives me a snug fit.I would definitely buy again and I highly recommend it.
