These are exactly what I needed to hold and position the monitors in my DJ setup. They're solid, just the right size to hold my speakers while staying minimal and relatively attractive, and I am able to adjust the angle for my ears, or for shorter or taller people who come over to play.

Got these on sale for 30.00. They are not pretty to look at but they are highly functional and stable; with the proper size speaker. No complaints.

These are made of heavy cast aluminum and are very sturdy - rated for 33 lbs and I believe it! They have a thumbscrew on the back which allows you to adjust the angle which was important for my application - I am using two to hold a very heavy center channel speaker and they are ideal. In fact they are strong enough that one would have been enough but they come as a set. They have rubber pads on the top to keep speaker in place when vibrating. Really a very good product.

So these monitor stands do work. They don't really save you any space though (vs off the desk monitor stands) and effectively only serve to angle your monitors towards you which can also be done with smaller foam wedges. Because the stand itself is fairly large they take up roughly the same amount of space on your desk as just the monitors do.When they're angled back a lot, I makes me a little concerned about the speaker falling backwards.One of my biggest issues is esthetics. The branding is so large and brightly colored that it takes attention away from my nice monitors. I wish the branding were a little classier.Lastly, they don't have a way to turn them into a wall mount or something. These can only be used on your desk.

These stands are big enough and strong enough to support mid sized bookshelf speakers. Good build quality.

I was looking for speaker stands in order to reclaim desk-space under my speakers. I bought these since they had the ability to adjust the angle of the speakers up/down and were about the same price as the non-ajustable stands. I recieved the product and was happy with the thickness of the steel construction as well as the adjustment mechanism. Count me as a satisfied customer.
