I recently built a new workshop, and it was mouse-free at first. After a few months, I started spotting signs of mice, so I decided to try these mouse trap buckets. They worked like a charm and restored my shop to being mouse-free. Super easy to use and very effective!

This trap works incredibly well! The trick is using the right bait—peanut butter or tuna both do the job. Setup is a breeze—just add bait, secure the lid, and position the ladder. We placed a heavy rock in the bucket to keep it stable in windy conditions. Highly recommend!

The Mouse Trap Bucket Lid is a fantastic, easy-to-use solution for dealing with rodents. I was able to use an old bucket I had lying around, and the lid fit perfectly. Setup was simple—just snap the pieces together, and it was ready to go. The trap resets automatically, so you don’t need to worry about resetting it after each use, which makes it super convenient for continuous rodent control. For bait, I used peanut butter on the underside of the trap door to ensure the mice were fully committed before falling into the bucket. Depending on your preference, you can leave the bucket empty or fill it with water to make the disposal process easier. It’s a simple, no-mess way to deal with mice.I placed the trap in my basement, and it has worked wonders—I’ve noticed a significant reduction in mouse activity. The trap is reusable, easy to clean, and works without the need for any chemicals, making it safe for kids and pets.

I’m really impressed with the Mouse Trap Bucket Lid. It was super easy to set up, just snap it onto a 5-gallon bucket and add some bait like peanut butter. The auto-reset feature is a huge plus; it resets after each capture, letting me catch multiple mice without any hassle. I’ve caught over 10 mice already. What I appreciate most is that it’s safe for my kids and pets, there are no chemicals or dangerous mechanisms. It’s also reusable, which makes it cost-effective. I’ve used it both indoors and outdoors, and it works great in both spaces. Overall, this is a highly effective, safe, and easy-to-use trap. Highly recommend.

This bucket lid mouse trap set is an excellent, hassle-free way to deal with rodents. While the buckets are not included, I used an old bucket that fit perfectly. The setup is quick and straightforward—snap the pieces together, and it's ready. However, taking it apart can be tricky, so it's best to assemble it once and leave it in place. The trap resets automatically, allowing it to catch multiple mice without needing frequent attention. I used peanut butter as bait on the underside of the trap door, ensuring the mice fully committed before falling in. Depending on your preferred disposal method, you can decide whether to leave the bucket empty or add water. I placed mine in the basement, which takes up some space but would also work well in garages, sheds, or barns. After setting it up in my wife's garage, she noticed a significant reduction in mouse activity, making her space feel much more controlled. This is a simple, effective, and reusable solution for managing rodent problems. It's easy to clean, requires minimal maintenance, and works well.

Cheap plastic design.I’m not usually that person who leaves less than great reviews but I’m honestly disappointed in the design. The upper level mouse style compartment that hides the bait - making mice walk directly on the flap drop is a PAIN to assemble. The snap design that is supposed to pop into plastic is very fragile and it has to slide into a frame for the upper part. So for the past 40 minutes I’ve snapped one piece into place and had the other side pop out. Then had it completely snap off and break. Once you’ve assembled the upper piece together getting it onto the bucket is aggravating. I’ve resorted to tape and just placed the piece over the top.So far these mice have avoided snap traps, humane traps, electric traps, and don’t like peanut butter. This is my last resort. Otherwise I’d return them.

Cheap, directions terrible, nothing fits right and after making modifications to keep parts together, haven’t caught anything in over a week. Visibly see rats near the device but nothing caught. Difficult to bait since you have to put sticky substance UNDER the base since any weight on the flapper causes it to hang down. Total waste of money and time.
