This item is quite small and is made of very thin plastic. Does not appear durable at all. Not sure how long it will last but purchased as a gift for a 12 year old, at his family's suggestion. It does come with a small set of ear phones which I didn't expect, but overall appears to be very flimsy. Time will tell.

Overall this isn't a terrible mp3 player if you want one for a kid or just something basic. I don't love the screen layout or the folders, but that's probably because I'm more used to Apple products and my ipod. I got this for my kid so he could listen to audiobooks and music and not be on a phone (he's only 9) and it works well enough. Plug and play. Relatively simple to use. Not a bad price either.

It's kinda junky. Cheaply made, feel like if you push the buttons too hard the whole thing will snap. Can't get music to transfer with Bluetooth or cable.

Seems to work well and the sound quality is good. I just haven't figured out how to name each one of the audio files to keep them separate.

Product Option: Color: Blue, Capacity: 16GB. Overall, this is a pretty nice Walkman/iPod type device. It is extremely light weight, it weighs just 1.1 oz (31 grams), you stick it in you pocket or a compression sleeve and you don't even know it's there. You can load it up with music pretty easily, I have 150 albums in 256MB MP3 format loaded up with a little space to spare. It comes with a sample video and the size of the display is pretty small, but could be used and the sample video looks ok, that's just not my thing. Likewise, for the e-reader functionality. There is a lot of additional functionality, FM-Radio, Radio Recording, Sound recording, timer, etc that I don't think I'll ever use. it transfers data (files) from my computer to the player at nearly 4MB/Sec, so it loads up pretty quickly. I'm not a big fan of the controls, the choice of forward/back, up/down & select just isn't intuitive for me, but that only means it takes some getting used to, but that's at least in part a personal thing for me. I haven't yet, but I do plan to use the MicroSD (TF Card) slot to expand the device in the near future. Overall, this is a very function device and I'm very happy with it.

I need another cheap MP3 player. This looked like the ticket, but in the end I don't think I can use it.The product comes with wired earbuds, USB A to mini USB charging cable, and a USB C to USB A adapter if your power comes from a USB C port instead of a USB A port. The player has a lot of capabilities: play audio, video, display text (I think this is their ebook feature), record sound, and a few apps like stopwatch and alarm. The device is small, but readable and usable in that form factor. It supports voice recording, but I'm not sure where the microphone is located. It seemed to record better sound from the back. It support video which I didn't try. It supports ebooks, but the example they provide seemed to just be text. Tough way to read a book, but you can't do much better on such a small screen.I bought this primarily for the mp3 player ability. I work in the forest and need a cheap mp3 player to listen to books or music as I work. I added a 128MB memory card to use as a storage device. I have maybe 20 books and 20 music albums on the device. Playing audio using the supplied earbuds and another set of higher end earbuds produced the same quality problem. There is a clicking sound added to the music, which corresponds to the animated album rotating update on the screen. I think this might be a video driver impacting the sound on the wired earbuds. The sound also didn't sound that great, but maybe I was distracted by the clicking noise. I tried bluetooth earbuds. This eliminated the clicking sound, but had low volume. I had to turn it up most of the way to hear it with little noise around me. The bluetooth capability had some issues. First, the bluetooth had a range of about 4'. You need to keep it in your front pocket. Newer bluetooth protocols work maybe 30'-50' away. Second, and this may be my bluetooth earbuds, they continued to disconnect, reboot, reconnect, work for a short period and then repeat. The most serious problem for me is that the card folder, to display what audio is on the memory card, displays files one line at a time for all files found. There is no folder hierarchy, just a very long list of audio files. You have to know what your looking for by name (maybe filename) to play it. In addition, you have to go back to the audio selection to stop it playing. So if you go up in the menu to look at something, you can't stop the audio unless you go back to audio, card folder, find the file, select it and then hit pause. Not workable particularly if you have 128 MB of mp3 files.A final note for the manufacturer. The manner to move forward, backward, up, down, select is completely backwards from most other mp3 players. I might be able to get used to it, but there was no reason for up and down to be the right and left arrows and return be the down arrow. Makes using the device frustrating (but learnable). With the sound from a wired earbud having a clicking sound and the short range of the bluetooth, and the in ability to easily select a folder to play, all makes this a very difficult product to recommend. Fix the firmware to improve usability and the clicking. And add automatic bookmarks to start where you stopped.I can't recommend this mp3 player as is.

This is a decent little MP3 player. It delivered a far better sound than I was expecting at this price. It is not that of a name brand, but definitely not bad.The device is small and thin enough to slip into a pocket, armband, even a woman's headband if you are working out. It has a great battery life. I have this for medical infusions that last for hours during which touchscreens are problematic, and for walks and hikes where cellular/wifi service is not always available. The issues with this device are that people who are not tech savvy definitely will have trouble getting files onto the device. My husband looked at the instructions and was lost. I managed with the music, but have yet to get ebooks, etc... on it.The controls are a bit odd as well. To me they are entirely backward. It messes with playing music, especially while getting my medical treatment. This can be truly frustrating. If I had known this, I probably would have passed on this one.Overall it seems an okay buy for the money.
