I have two of these and using them when I teach class. A bit too loud to keep them running when I'm teaching, but warm up the large classroom pretty quick

This product offers great value and quality. I tested it in a double car garage with temperatures in the low teens, and it warmed up in less than five minutes. I even had to turn it down to stay comfortable. Very satisfied with its performance!

Once in a while, when starting fan motor makes a little noise going to have to get a hold of seller and report the same see if there could be a problem with that. The shipping from Purolator was terrible. Recommend not shipping with them anymore as it was three weeks late.

This thing is great - puts out a ton of heat and is easy to use and setup.It is important to know that you do need an electrical source to run this.

Good buy

This little heater puts out some serious heat.. it has a high and low setting and is pretty noisy too. You will need to open some windows or doors because it smells pretty strong when running. I heated my 1600 sf high ceiling shop from 50 degrees to 65 degrees in about 15 minutes with a couple windows open. Had to take off my sweatshirt! I would guess the fumes are bad for you, so it's good idea to have ventilation like instructions state! I would have given it 5 stars if it wasn't just High and low.. not modulating control.

While I seek out and bought this just in case my water pipes froze again of course it hasn't got cold enough for this to happen. So I ended up using it to heat one of my outside sheds while I was working in it works great heats up the large area very quickly it's very quiet and is very economical on the use of propane I'm very pleased.

But I installed a single-pole switch because it was annoying to disconnect and reconnect when the heat reached was acceptable. Very easy to use, and starts very easily even in very cold weather.

I've only just gotten this unit this morning but I can already tell it will do the job it was purchased for. With minimal assembly I connected it according to clear instructions to an 11lb propane tank and plugged it in. This heater throws a tremendous amount of heat for its size, quite quietly I will add.I've done two things others might find useful: I laid the propane line in the sun on a warm day to soften it a bit, then coiled it loosely anticipating the fact it will not be the most flexible thing when it's -40 in my 1000 sq/ft high ceilinged shop. And second, I purchased a short power bar with an on/off switch for obvious reasons. I plan to rig up to a 115v furnace thermostat to automatically turn the unit off when temps get above a desired setting, but I will still need to depress the cold start bypass button to fire it up. The fan will come on when temps fall, notifying me it's time to ignite it. Not ideal but fine imo.It clearly uses fuel like nobody's bidness, but it's a propane heater, not a Prius. It's actually very good at converting fuel into useful heat, very, very fast.I'm fairly confident my money has been well spent, but I assure you should things not meet with my expectations I shall say so, here.Edit: the temperature in my shop dropped to -21C a short while back but this heater quickly warmed it to +12 in 15 minutes! On low -- and with ample ventilation I must add -- it makes winter work quite pleasant. I get about a day out of 20lbs of propane and the CO detector says it's safe. Whoosh and it's gone! But lots of toasty heat. Now scavenging the countryside for an unwanted 500lb tank, or bigger...
