Not sure what's going on. This thing has been flawless for the last 6 months that I've owned it. I love it but this is not good at all when the item fails to function after only 6 months with moderate use.

The instructions for F to C conversion and sound on/off do not work. Further instructions for temperature calibration, Iron sleep time, and iron temperature calibration also do not work, and the latter 2 refer to a non-existent "soldering iron emergency stop switch".The "manual" included has a warranty card on the back where they guarantee a satisfactory email response within 24 hours or immediate phone support, but they don't include the email address or phone number with the product, on the listing, in the manual, or on their amazon store.The item was well packaged, although the box is marked "FRIGILE".I have tried the soldering iron briefly to tin one of the included tips. It seems to have heated quickly and completely.UPDATEWithin hours of attempting to contact them through Amazon, they have emailed and will be investigating the documentation and working with me to determine if it is a defective item or just unclear instructions. They have been very responsive and I have adjusted my review to reflect the high level of customer service. I will adjust my review further as we resolve this issue and I can put the station through some testing and usage.UPDATE 2The promised follow ups with clearly defined instructions arrived and works perfectly. I could swear I tried some of these steps before without success. The only difference I believe may have been that I used the hot air station to test it out earlier yesterday. I had previously tried the soldering iron portion. Sound On/Off: Ensure the device is in the off state, then press and hold the temperature ▼ button before turning on the power supply at the back.When the screen displays 【 SPH 】 and emits a beep, the sound prompt function is successfully activated.Repeat the operation for the screen to display 【 SPH 】 without emitting any sound, entering silent mode.3. Temperature Calibration: Ensure the device is in the off state, then press and hold both the temperature ▲ and ▼ buttons simultaneously before turning on the power supply at the back.When the screen displays 【 00 】, it enters the temperature calibration function.Use the temperature ▲ and ▼ buttons to set the desired temperature ±.The soldering iron gun features automatic temperature compensation, eliminating the need for manual adjustment.4. Set Soldering Iron Sleep Time: Ensure the device is in the off state, then press and hold the on/off key for the soldering iron function on the front panel before turning on the power supply at the back.The screen will display [ SLP ] to enter the soldering iron sleep time setting page.
