I've been mountain biking since1991 . But in these modern times many components are way overprised. I myself have been a bike snob paying over one hundred dollars for a bicycle stem.I decided with my new Lynskey titanium LiveWire build that I'd purchase a few budget components such as a stem.I ordered this stem in the Titanium color , it looks much better in person as this stem is sweet. It's 100% machined and not a cheap cast . It's quality , it's light and if it were a major brand , this stem woukd be well over $100.Don't be afraid of this product!!

This stem is one of the best values available. It is CNC machined from aluminum billet and it includes decent enough hardware for the price. The finish on mine is flawless.Don't skimp to save a few more dollars. Below this price point, you are likely to get what you pay for. I returned a Wake version that cost half as much because the screws were cheap (ignoring the fact that the new packaging was missing one), and the cast construction created doubts.Stems and bars are obviously two items you do not want failing on you unexpectedly and worth paying a little more for!

Long time mechanic here... Looks cool, good tolerances, not expensive, works great. Wish they offered it with 20mm more extension.

This stem is nicely anodized and the machining looks great, except for the edges around the handlebar and top tube interfaces. I wouldn’t want to install with carbon components without filing down the edges first.For what you pay, it’s a good deal. It is great for cheaper bikes with alloy components, but it isn’t an alternative for use with carbon, though.

Bought this stem for my Ebike because I didn't like the long reach on the original stem. Using this shorter stem brought the handlebar back closer to me. It looks great on the bike as an added bonus. Tightened it up to spec and nothing slips or creaks. I'm not a hard core downhiller, so I'm not sure I can comment on it's durability, but I'm 100% happy with it.
