The head of the bolt began stripping with the torque/turn - very weak steel when compared to an OEM bolt. I ended up just reusing the old bolts (not recommended) and using the bushings from these, otherwise I would have returned them.

Product looks the same as the one on IPD and that is the only site that recommends this type of bolt to get rid of the ping noise when shifting out of park or going from Reverse to Drive. I have changed all the mounts including the transmission mount and that sound was bothering me not knowing it was just an axle bolt with a rubber washer that would solve the problem. Cheaper than on IPD but follow the instructions on their website.

Installed on my 2005 S40. So far so good. Haven’t paid too much attention to the reduced ping, but also don’t remember noticing any ping either. Do note that this is a 14mm head VS the stock 13mm head but not an issue

These bolts were essentially the exact same length as the OEM ones I removed from my 2006 v70r.There was a slight difference in thickness of washer but nothing substantial plus the rubber negates that anyway.Installation was easy:Jack up carRemove wheelsRemove axle boltsInstall new ones and tigthen firmly but dont torque yet.Leave the center wheel cap offInstall wheels and drop car then torque wheelsTorque axle bolt to 25ftlb then angle torque a further 90 degrees.Done

Same as the factory XC90 bolt kit to get rid of axle ping. My only complaint is that the bolt head is 13mm instead of the stock 14mm head, which is my reason for a 4-star review.
