PERFECT STORAGE FOR MY AMMUNITION. GIVES ME THE ABILITY TO PROPERLY STORE MY RELOADS AND TRANSPORT THEM TO THE RANGE. LARGE CAPACITY MAKES IT NICE TO BE ABLE TO STAY AT THE RANGE WITHOUT CARRYING A LOT OF THE FACTORY CARTONS AND ALL THE WASTE. LOAD DATA LABELS ADHERE TO THE CASE AS WELL. This is a very good product.What else can you say it holds my ammo like it said.I didn't see that it didn't hols 30-06 ammo and it will not they are just a little to tall. But that is my fault should have looked harder.

Personally, I don’t feel feel particularly comfortable with storing loose rounds, particularly given that I store different types of ammunition in close proximity to one another. Factory cardboard boxes are moisture traps which is bad to go for long-term storage. However, if you snag a few of these bad boys and desiccant packs or a dehumidifier, you will have well-organized storage with no question as to how many rounds of each caliber you have on hand.

This item arrived quickly and in good condition via Amazon Prime.First off, yes, this is the model that holds 30-30 ammunition. It's one of the few calibers I couldn't find listed on the product page, but this is the model for it. The box was much larger than I had anticipated, but it is very sturdy. With 100 rounds inside, it holds the weight and they stack very well. The top portion of the lid is translucent, the sides of the lid and the rest of the case is thicker and opaque.The box locks very firmly and since the lid is now designed to lay back completely, you no longer have to worry about getting your knuckles scraped when reaching for ammo. The box has proven to be very wear resistant, and none of the ammunition stored in this case has shown any signs of age or oxidation.This is a superior product. It has proven itself to be incredibly tough, reliable and functional. Those looking for a safe and clean method for ammunition transportation and storage could hardly be better served than by investing in these MTM ammo boxes. They are without question, the gold standard of their product type.

I don't know that I love it (5 star seems to mean that you love it according to amazon) but it certainly does do it's job and does it well.I have been reloading for my rifle and this is a great match for storing those rounds after I assemble them. It just works and allows me to place my rounds in my hunting pack, camping gear, or range bag without having to worry about the container getting smashed or bent if something shifts wrong. Granted I will likely get a smaller case though for when I go hunting as I do not need 100 rounds just to get some deer or whatever it is that I'm after that trip. But these are also great for storing ammo long term in one's home however one wishes to store them.I now have a couple of these as I am periodically making more custom rounds for my rifle. If you have a rifle and like to be accurate with it, reloading is the only way and cases like this make storing those rounds much easier and reduce the stress of rounds possibly getting damaged before a trip that could effect the accuracy of the shots made. It's about taking down the prey as quickly and humanely as possible.What I would really like this company to do would be to make containers that fit into the Fat 50 cal. ammo cans just right so that I can store my ammo in the can and maximize the storage in a single ammo can instead of having too much unused space in the can.
