Nice solid ammo holder. Useful especially when keeping handloads for range testing separate.

These plastic boxes allow ammo to be organized, stored, and transported easily and safely. The transparent boxes let me see exactly what is inside plus I can see an index card with load data when slid under the outside shell.I still have MTM boxes that my grandfather used. Quality products.

The gap there.. On the bottom in the middle makes it super easy to separate but not by accident. I'll be buying more

Not much to the box, but it works well. I don't know if it has an airtight seal, but there's enough space between the cartridges to put a small desiccant packet inside for longer term storage. Its stronger than a cardboard box so I don't have to worry about the rounds getting damaged in a heavy range bag.If I could give a 4.5 I would, it can sometimes be difficult to get the two halves of the box to slide together which could probably be fixed with some well placed chamfers on the edges.

I purchased several of this item for a hunting trip where I traveled by plane. I got the idea from a YouTube video I saw regarding flying with a firearm. It seems like a sturdier way to transport ammo than cardboard manufacturer packaging. A benefit is you can see what type of ammo is in the case. Additionally, I used permanent marker to label the various rounds and it stuck to the case without issue. So far, I've used this case for .308 only There did not seem to be any issue with damaging the rounds as the tips don't reach the to of the case. One downside with this is rattling and noise as these are made to accommodate multiple types of rounds/calibers/cases. It would be nice if the manufacturer made a more specific case for common calibers. I remedied this problem by putting a fire small pieces of soft foam on l in the lid component of the case. Also, the lid of the case is loose and will easily slide off the base and I did spoil my ammo a few times through carelessness. This is easily remedied with a rubber band or similar. It would be nice if the manufacturer could devise a latch system of some kind. Regarding flying with ammo, I most recently flew Southwest and their limit for carrying ammunition is weight based. These cases are probably not as light as cardboard, so might cost you a few rounds if you are near a weight limit.

I realize that these are slip top boxes but it would be nice if there was some resistance to sliding apart when loaded. Fiddling with elastic bands is one solution but I am sure that some ridges could be molded into the product.

Holds yer boolits. Needs a bit of foam in the top to stop em rattling about and an elastic band round the box to keep it closed is a good idea. Good solid quality as you'd expect fro MTM gear.

The bullets tend to rattle about in it, it doesn't seem to hold them tight! It's fine if you are just reloading but I wouldn't advice to take it out with you shooting
