I had already ordered one case and had to send back bc pistol wouldn't fit. The pistol is about 14.5in long, So I was a little worried this case wouldn't be quite big enough. But it's a perfect fit for our son's Crossman pistol for 4-H competition shooting...even just enough room for the other stuff that's needed for it. Very happy with this purchase! The case is very well made

Bought this for my 44-Mag, 8-3/8" Barrel, fits in this case perfectly with a little extra space for 2 Speed Loaders and the Speed Loader case! The case seems well made, good latches which close securely. I recommend it!

This is a great product at a fantastic price. I needed a hard sided case for two of my semi-automatic handguns. After looking around some of the outfitter stores and discount gun shops, I found this unit on Amazon. Not only does it hold both of my guns, but the price was more than right. Dual lugs for locks means I can use in checked luggage. It is fully padded (both sides). This case protects your guns at a fraction of the cost.

This review is for MTM 809-40 Double Pistol Handgun Case Up to 8.5" Revolver Barrel, Black. MTM continues to be my go-to standard for cases. I have multiple and in different sizes. All have been excellent. This case is a great combination of quality of plastic, good hinges, and foam that holds items securely. This case works out really good for me to hold two pistols and spare magazines, moon clips, speed loaders, and/or speed strips.The case features a tongue and groove seal. This is good enough for rain, but since there is no gasket, it can't be submerged. The two latches are decent, but they aren't a super tight hold. I suspect that if I were to drop the case the latches would have a good chance of popping open. However, there are two holes for adding locks, which would keep it shut.There are stronger cases out there designed to take a super beating, but those cases cost significantly more, and rightly so. However, for a standard, good quality case, that will keep everything in place, this is the one that I find to be the best value. Every other brand of plastic case I have tried at a lower price point than MTM has been a disappointment, even some that cost slightly more were a disappointment too. MTM cases are made in USA. I'm sure I will be ordering more MTM cases in the future.I wish MTM would offer a case with pluckable foam or with foam I could cut to a custom size. I could a couple that I could create a custom layout for.

The case meets my needs as a compact case for a paintball marker for organization and transport. Would probably look for something a more substantial if I were using it for true firearm storage. Latches seem a bit thin at the hinge and I could see it giving away with repeated use. Again, as an organization case that does not need to be secure, it will be work as intended at a reasonable price point.

For the price, this is a great case for storing and light-toting up to two pistols (e.g. see attached photo with two 1911s and four magazines for a sense of size). This has all plastic components with a lighter plastic casing and egg-crate foam that holds the contents securely enough. With my arrangement, there is a .5cm gap along the closure edges. I would say this is good for storage and for trips to the range. I would not recommend this case for trips that require rugged construction, 100% tamper-proof security, or element-proof encasement. While it would technically pass TSA requirements for firearm travel and does indeed have two lock holes and room around the handle for another cable lock if desired, I would not personally attempt airline transport with this case. If you need a more rugged application or if you will be air-traveling with your firearm(s), you'll probably want to look into Pelican or another upper-tier case. If you need, however, an affordable storage case or light-to-medium use range case, you can't beat this for the money. Glad I bought and will purchase more as needed.

ハンドガンはサバゲーに3丁ほど持っていくのですが、ハンドガンはかさばります。しかし、このガンケースは2～3丁入れることができ、そのくせ運転席に置いていても運転時の違和感がないのでかなりいいです。また、M1911のマガジンのような薄いものでもしっかりホールドしてくれます。南京錠を通せる穴があるので盗難防止にもなります。

I'm giving this a high rating because it's exactly what I expected and very inexpensive.It is:-A cheap hard case that will hold my gun, two magazines, some accessories, etc, and allows a thin lock to hold it shut.It is not:-Remotely heavy-duty-Going to stop someone who's at all serious about getting to your gun, lock or no-Going to survive a fall from a significant height (like 2 stories +)I bought it because my range requires that we show up with all guns unloaded, chamber opened, inside of a locked case. I don't keep my gun in here, I use it only for transporting to and from the range. It does that job perfectly.As an added bonus, the 8.5 inch size I purchased is just right for putting my paper targets in as well; I keep them between the foam insert and the inner plastic surface of the lid. Using standard US letter sized paper it holds them flat and nice so I can bring them to the range really easily.

My second MTM handgun case - big enough to take two automatic pistols, for example the Umarex HK P30 and the Umarex Walther CP88 or one large framed, long barrelled revolver like the ASG Dan Wesson CO2 pistol with an eight inch barrel and a Red Dot Sight mounted on the top rail. Plus room for CO2 cartridges and two speed loaders. A very robust case that has can be secured by two padlocks, ideal to keep the pistol safe from children.
