The 1/4" stainless eye bolt thread was fairly loseI had to double nut it to make sure it wasn't going to loosen

One can almost make it work on a 3/16” steel rope, but requires a lot of effort. 3/16” simply isn’t meant to bend into such a small loop.

These are very small. Better suited to rope than steel cable.

Using these in a home gym cable pulley set up. They fit and work well and are holding up nicely.
