Use these for my shoelaces, gym pants draw strings and just about any use that has 2 lines that need to stay in place. Cheap ,effective and durable enough going through the wash a few times so far.

I got these because I want to make up some custom draw string bags and packs of my own design to fit my own specific needs. I’ve grown quite tired of buying over priced bags and pouches for hunting, camping and hiking gear only to realize they weren’t designed to actually be useful for a variety of gear options, but rather designed with specific gear made by the same companies or their affiliates. So I’ve decided that if I didn’t want to buy, or couldn’t afford to buy, a boat load of useless gear to fit the bags and packs that I’ve already wasted money on, or waste more money on commercially available bags in hopes that something may eventually prove useful, I may as well make my own bags and packs specifically designed to fit the gear I already own, most of which has proven their worth in the field.So these spring loaded cord locks will come in very handy for the bags I plan to make.
