I really like the subtle look of this black anodized pickguard on my white blonde Squier Classic Vibe 50's telecaster. It makes it look special without altering the awesome "blackguard" vibes these guitars have. Like factory, but better. The metallic texture feels nice, too.Fitting it took a little work, and required drilling three new holes.The included black screws are thinner than the stock chrome ones, but are also a bit longer, so they find enough purchase to fasten securely as they become flush with the pickguard.Not all the holes lined up exactly right, so I had to toe the bottom screws into the existing guitar holes at an angle, but they went flush to the guard when all the way in, so they look perfect. No biggie.And as I mentioned, I had to drill a few holes. The CV Teles have 5 period-correct pickguard holes, while this new pickguard has 8 like modern Teles do. Once I had it on and saw how cool it looks, I decided to go ahead and drill three new holes in the body so I could screw in all 8 screws that came with this pickguard.I figure it's fine, as if I want to go back to a five-hole pickguard, all the new holes will be covered up. Plus, I bought the guitar to mod it (compensated brass saddles, new Fralin Blues Special pickups and a new four-way Fralin wiring harness, and who knows what else) so I'm trying not to be too precious about keeping it "stock" to preserve it's...stockness?Anyway, this pickguard is a very cool and tasteful visual upgrade which is really easy to recommend.

The pics don't necessarily show the texture and quality, I was concerned it may not look like the Fender branded / oem issued aluminum pick-guards but it's exactly the same. Fit perfectly on my USA Pro Tele

This will make a good look for your telecaster. It has a nice solid construction . It will last longer that this beat up tele will. I was worried it would be too thin, but it is just right.

Super Qualität. Der Gold - Ton ist etwas dunkler als bei einem Original, was ich sogar noch schöner finde. Einziger nennenswerter Unterschied ist, dass mein Original etwas besser entgratet ist. Der Kanten - Verrundungsprozess vor dem Bürsten wurde hier weggelassen. Es sind aber keine wirklich scharfen Grate vorhanden.

Very nice, great fit on Squier bullet telecaster. One small finish flaw near pickup hole, which was under plastic protective film, so this was poor q.c. at factory.Pickup mounting holes need to be drilled slightly larger, so may not be usable if you don't have ability to do this. If so, looks great.
