I like the guitar kits on Amazon, but most have lower quality tuners and pickups. I like to upgrade them when I can find reasonable cost items. These P90s fit the bill. Dropped right in to my LP kit. Have noticeably more punch than the ones that came with the kit. Wiring was straight forward, just swapped them out wire for wire. They feel like quality construction and they sound great. For the price I don't think you will find better pickups. If you build kits, or need an upgrade - check these out!

I was very surprised at the quality and tone of this Musiclily P90 pickup. My project was to restore an Epiphone SG to it's original state, 2 P90 pickups. I had a Seymour Duncan bridge pickup and needed the neck. When the Musiclily arrived, I found it very close to the SD build and quality, mesh wire and all. It has great vintage tone and compliments the SD perfectly. You will be hard pressed to find a better pickup for the price. I've since bought a set of Musiclily P90's for another guitar.

In contrast, the bridge pickup, with a DC resistance of 11.2K ohms, offers a higher output level, enriched with complex harmonics that provide clarity and definition, particularly beneficial for lead playing and overdriven tones.Designed to fit standard neck and bridge positions, these pickups feature polepiece spacing of 50mm for the neck and 52mm for the bridge, ensuring compatibility with most electric guitar configurations. The installation process is user-friendly, and the set includes necessary mounting hardware. However, it is worth noting that the provided screws may not be universally compatible with all guitar models, potentially necessitating the use of alternative screws.All that information is probably overkill for most people, but I figured i'd put it in there in case other peeps wanted it. These are great for project guitars, though I wouldn't put it on my Gibson until I fully test the noise on a big amp.

Very nice P90s that are a great value for such quality. I have not installed them yet but plan to on a Jazzmaster style guitar. I am amateur luthier and I build a lot of guitars so I always test before installing. I found these pickups to match the values listed under the product description when tested with an ohm meter. The magnets are strong and consistent in their pull when I tested with a mock string setup. I will follow up with pictures when ready.

These pickups totally met my expectations for a budget set. I converted my Gibson SG Special from 490R/498T humbuckers to these P90s. I got a Kaish pickguard to go with them, and they work perfectly.I'll eventually upgrade them to a name brand set, but for now I have no complaints. TThey're very clear, but also sound great with some dirt.

These P90 style single coil pickups are excellent quality.I plan to mount them in a tele style build. The vintage style braided metal shielded wiring and included mounting hardware offer several options - springs, tubing, and foam blocks that will work well in any installation situation.The fit and finish as well as the weight and wiring style are obviously of very high quality.Beautiful construction and excellent value and quality. These also came with good instructions and each pickup is clearly labeled for position and polarity. This makes using a single one of these pickups in a build with an existing installedpickup, or in an installation with a different type or brand of pickup (or pickups) easier to sort out.I highly recommend these P90s.
