Easy to install. I put this on a cheap Squier and it turned it into a whole different guitar! It sounds so much better now. Looks great. Incredible upgrade, and I will buy again if I’d like to upgrade a cheap guitar. The dual humbucker pickups are exactly what my strat needed.

Cleanest pre-wired pickguard I've seen. Large pots. Neat wiring. All around well done. Now I just need to get another strat so I can install it. :)

I recently ordered the Musiclily Pro-SE ST-HH-OMHA Pre-wired Pickguard with Alnico 5 Humbuckers Mini Toggle Switch for Strat Style Electric Guitar, 3Ply Black for a guitar build. I have built many guitars over the years and found Musiclily products to provide a good value. The pickguard was easy to assemble with my Stratocaster body. The pre-wired pickguard is constructed well and made it very easy to assemble a guitar. Often guitar players replace the pickups on low-cost guitars but I have found the pickups in Musiclily pickguards to be good and not have had any desire to replace them. Overall, I found the Musiclily pickguards to be an excellent value and I plan to continue to use them for many guitar builds.

This pick guard is super nice, I really like the color and how it pops on my guitar. It was easy to install, only three wires to solder. Was a definite improvement from a cheaper loaded pick guard that I had purchased previously. I really like coil split function. You can get a lot of different tones out of these pick ups. I gave it five starts for the price, the quality was good for the price. I would recommend this pre-wired pick guard.

Once in a while I like to pick up an old beater, especially Squire Strats & Teles and use them as projects, sort of a poor man's Custom Shop. One that has stayed with me for over a decade now started its life as a very good example of the Korean Squire series, a Black Strat with a maple neck, solid Gilmour vibes. Now it is Surf Green, old school Fender logo on the headstock, vintage style tuners and other little details. Until today it had American pots, and a set of Fender 50's pickups (which sounded great). Rather than wait to pick up a new specimen for Evolution I decided on getting this back in action. I need to improvise routing out a neck position single coil slot to accommodate the humbucker and although the pickguard fit snugly in place, the holes were not in alignment with the holes on the body, so I had to drill new holes and a minimal amount of soldering to connect the jack and the ground wire. I am really not used to seeing or playing Strats with H-H so the visuals are taking a little getting used to. What I fell in love with right away was the awesome array of excellent tones coming from such a budget friendly piece of gear. You get a single master volume knob and a master tone control. The pick up selector has 3 positions (neck, both & bridge) and the real mojo is a discreet little toggle switch placed about where the middle knob is on a standard S-S-S that switches pickups to single coil functioning and you can use the pickup selector just as you do in humbucker mode.I was playing direct into a little 5 watt Supro Delta 10 with the overdrive switch engaged but the overall gain pretty low, edge of breakup territory. Both pickups individually and in combination and both modes yielding inspiring sounds that also could be further coloured by subtle dialing in with the volume knob. Even though it was late and I need to get up early (for me anyway) I couldn't resist going from Hendrix, to Billy Gibbons, to The Beatles, Jeff Beck, Chris Isaak, Johnny Smith, CCR, Steve Gaines/Skynyrd and some improvising. Just GLORIOUS. There are far better guitars and loaded pickguards available out there but I don't think any high end custom set up would bring any more player's bliss than my buck twenty five guitar and import pickguard. And the whole set comes in under $200.
