This system is a must for all young horses in training, or older horses with poor topline muscle tone. So many people skip this step in training and it really puts your horse at a disadvantage. Proper headset, collection, and ambulation are all improved with this system. I’ve also had a few horses with spinal issues, and the vet recommended this. If you want a well-balanced horse, this is a great alternative to the much more expensive (and well-known) Pessoa lunging system. Very highly recommend!

New and improved for larger horses. The only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is it didn't come with instructions as stated. just pictures on the box.

I love this, really has helped my horse to be balanced properly when lunging. I have a 14hh Arab gelding and had to shorten lines a bit. Great product!

Used this training harness to build the topline and rehab my horse after kissing spine surgery. He is somewhat long backed so the lines were a bit short. The butt strap flipps over despite anything I do so the nylon side is against his skin vs the felt side. I do however like the workout it gives when I am unable to ride. Much more effective than lunging alone.

This system was way too small for my three horses. That said, at the price, I was able to replace the bungees with longer lengths and I bought a girth extender for the surcingle and now it works well and all-in it was still less expensive than other lunging systems.

This works well if you have an idea of how to use one. I bought it for use on my 16.2+ thoroughbred. She is a bit long backed with a long neck, and has a decent width. This is not a true horse size as it was quite small on her. I simply use her bridle instead of the caveson and bridle provided as those fit awkwardly, especially together and the bit provided is a simple (and fairly thin) snaffle. A regular girth can be added to make the surcingle fit a larger horse, and I added twine to lengthen the elastic enough for her length. While in theory this is a complete set, the manufacturer needs to call it a cob size and offer true horse/pony/oversizes as well, since having to use your own equipment to make it fit and having to rig the lines for a regular sized horse is a bit ridiculous for the price and advertising as a horse size. One size does not fit most.

While I do like the concept, this does not fit even an average size horse. The only thing that fits is the surcingle! Bailing twine to the rescue to add several inches to even get it on my horse. I also had to remove the browband, throatlatch, and the piece that connect to the noseband on the underside of the cavesson. After all these adjustments were made the concept is working wonderfully. I attached a picture of where I added bailing twine to make it all work. I only wish it was larger or came in different sizes!
