At first I didn’t like it, was too hard to press. So I had made up my mind to send it back, but then I decided to try again. This time I put it on the table and pressed and worked great. After some time I guess it got loosened up and I can do it holding it or on the table. Great value for the money.

I am an educator who uses a lot of card decks. This little corner punch was able to punch through 3mm laminated heavy cardstock with ease, so now my students and I will no longer be stabbing ourselves on the sharp edges and corners that come with laminated, cut-by-hand card decks. I was able to round all the corners on a 30-card deck in about three minutes. Highly recommend this product!

I needed something to curve the corners of laminated papers. This one in particular would not allow the corner to go in. Its too narrow and barely trims a piece. Had to return.

I found myself having to make two cuts to make it a smooth rounded edge. But it’s easy to use and does work. I only did a couple pages at once and worked fine

I had to play with this for a while to learn how to get the corners even. It is a simple device and I use in card making. It gives a finished look to my cards. Not as complicated as some, but does require a learning curve. Just play with it. The blades are sharp but I don't know how long it will last. Cardstock is tough on all cutters. It doesn't leave jagged edges. I like it and recommend.

Ordered this to trim file folder tabs that were laminated. No instructions came with the tool, so after I figured out how it worked I gave it a shot. All it did was to score the plastic/lamination. It didn't cut through with a nice clean edge. I attempted to make a second cut but it still didn't cut through, however it scored it a bit more so that I could pull the scrap part off. I was left with a sharp, ragged edge on my folder tab. Definitely not what I was going for. It wasn't thick lamination either...just the standard thickness for 8.5 x 11" paper. Also, because of the way you hold this device (with the little tip pointed down at the corner you're cutting away) it does not work for trimming an inside corner, such as in my case. The side of the tab I (sort of) cut was at the very top of the folder (tab was flush with the body of the folder). When I attempted to trim the other corner, this device wouldn't work, because the side of it's triangle that needed to be 45 degrees down from the cutting tip (in my case, parallel to the top edge of the folder) hit the top edge of the folder & there was no way to hold the device another way.
