Sketching out ideas for projects in the yard or the workshop to a rough scale is a breeze with these and have your notes on the same page. They are sturdy enough to write notes without a support and the spirel binding seems to last the life if the pad for easilly flipping pages. Excelent kit! I use them for everything

I immediately put 2 of the notebooks to use upon receipt. I like the quality and design. However, they came in all black. I wanted a variety of colors. Oh well, I guess I'll just have use them or give them away.

It's your basic 1/4" x 1/4" grid. It works for me for taking notes and jotting ideas.

The grid pads serve as telephone logs.. keeping track of incoming and outgoing calls, conversations plans etc
