I bought this heating pad about a year ago. Recently it malfunctioned. Thank God my husband was home, because it was smoldering melting and ruined our couch. It definitely would have caused a fire if gone unnoticed. I have 3 of the smaller heating pads through this company and my cats love them, and we’ve never had a problem. I tried to find an email or any type of customer service phone number, but was unsuccessful, so I am leaving this message / review here. I read the instructions on the heating pad and it did not say anything about leaving it on a couch or any type of surface. Maybe it was a bad batch of heaters? Just want to give a heads up to NAMSAN and any customers who come across this.

Fits perfectly in the bottom flap designed for a heating pad. The size is perfect as it allows enough room for the puppies to find the heat they need when they need it. Its durable and safe. Stays on and offers multiple heat settings.

These are perfect for the bottom of a basket or of a cat bed. They offer the ability to control what heat comes out of them. I found the cords sometimes too short, but overall my cats love them. I took off one star because of the size. They are small only my smallest cat could get her it’s her body on the pad, but like I said, at the bottom of a cat bed or the basket or of a bag or a box these are great.,!

Quick service. This heating pad fits the cat tree perch, something most cannot do, The variable temperature is an important feature. Very pleased.

Hasta ahorita les ha servido mucho a mis gatos, sin embargo, no lo recomiendo si vives en un lugar con temperaturas abajo de 5°C por que no te va a servir, este tapete es más para lugares que si bien se ponen fríos durante el invierno, no tienen climas extremosos, ya que calienta pero tampoco tantísimo

A miscommunication with the groomer resulted in me getting my little Havanese back with a 1/4 inch cut all over, rather than just her face. Ack! She was freezing! In addition to buying lots of warm dog clothes for her, I put this where she sleeps with a fleece blanket over it to make it cozier. She loves it and it has made a world of difference in her mood to be able to get wam any time she feels a little chilly. It heats up quickly, the cord and controls are definitely robust and chew-proof (unless you have a really agressive chewer), and it's generously sized. She sleeps like a baby on this thing too. Its perfect in my opinion. Worth every cent.

My two kitties have toasty tootsies for the winter. The temperature control, at first, didn’t seem adequately warm. However once the cat lays on the heating pad it becomes quite warm. I have put the heating pad on top of the cat bed with one thin layer of blanket on top of the heating pad just to keep it clean. This is a wonderful product with even better customer serviceOne of my heating pads unexpectedly quit working just shy of the two month purchase date. I contacted customer service, via email and explain the situation. I asked if they would replace The product, and TES they did And quickly we had the replacement within five days. This all took place between Christmas and New Year’s eve. Outstanding customer service.

I have two small Terriers that sleep inside an enclosed covered patio which gets fairly cold in the winter. Last year I purchased two Pets Fit indoor wooden portable Dog Houses and two heating mats from a different supplier. The dog houses are outstanding but the heating mats not so good. The problem with 100% of all other pet heating mats that I have researched is the length of the short thermostat cord. The pads I purchased last year had thermostat cords of 18"... way too short to route outside the dog house and place the thermostat in a useful accessible location AND away from the dogs. The seller of this particular mat could not, or would not understand the problem.Then, this year, I came across the Namsan Pet Heating Mat almost by accident. This pad fits the bill for a proper fit and the application I have been searching for. The floor on the Pets Fit Dog House is slightly larger than the 24"x18" Namsan heating mat and makes for a pretty good fit. The anti-biting thermostat cord on this mat is approximately 6 feet long; the longest I've seen anywhere. Since the dog house floor is elevated above the patio floor by a few inches, I can route the thermostat and cable through the floor bottom, up the back of the dog house which sits against the wall, and fasten the thermostat anywhere I want away from the two little terriers. The digital thermostat has a number of pre-set veterinarian recommended settings. We have had a few cold nights and the dogs spent the night in comfort, each in their own heated house. As I have only had the mats on-line for a couple of weeks it's still a little early for me to evaluate the reliability and continued operation, but the mats have been working outstandingly well since I turned them on, and the two little guys really love them.The delivery was fast and efficient. I would recommend this mat for anyone who has been looking for a mat with a sensible thermostat cable length.

I inherited an older cat, very elderly actually. I was extremely worried about her with winter fast approaching. Her favourite place to sleep is on the floor in our back bedroom in her little kitty bed. We keep our bedroom quite cool and it is the furthest room from the stove. Moving her bed did not work we have one other cat and a small dog, she would just go back and sleep on the floor.What to do? Head to Amazon is what I did. Perfect!I was happy to have it within a week, just in the knick of time. As mentioned in the other reviews the cord is long and if you needed it, that would be handy. The numbers on the LED are large and easy to see. After reading the instructions (pretty self explanatory) I plugged it in and tested the heat, 30 to 35, this is not hot, slightly warm to the touch, put it into her bed. She got in got out looked at it, to hot? I turned it down 25 nope would have nothing to do with it..... Heck .... Wait maybe it is the feel of it not that it feels bad it's just not what she is use to . Put it Under the bed. Well that did the trick she Loves it not only that I went in last night and there was my other kitty in her bed.As far as how it will hold up to washing I wouldn't know but so far this pet heating pad is putting my mind at ease knowing my elderly cat is warm and comfortable.I would definitely recommend this product and yes I would purchase it again as a matter of fact I may have too.I have an up date.I was asked if this heating pad had an automatic shut off after a certain amount of time? This as far as I can tell dose not happen but it will shut off with a power outage or even with a power bump. So if you notice the microwave flashing you'll need to turn your Heating pad back on.
