Do your research I beg you. Look up SRT70MM Telescope and look at what the internet has to say about it. This thing isn't even suited for bird watching. It's a low-value monocular.

My daughter received this as a Christmas gift. She’s been fascinated with the moon and stars lately and wanted to be able to see the moon up close. This telescope definitely delivered! The small scope on the side helps you find your object then you can adjust some more with the larger scope. Simple to use and we got some great photos!

We purchased three for our grandchildren who live away, so we are unable to know more. Boxing is beautiful and gift ready.

I have this. Great! I took my time, working through the very scant instruction page. I set up in front of a window facing my backyard fence. Using the 10mm eyepiece I located a specific fence post top. Then I looked through the red dot viewfinder. It took awhile, turning the two adjustment screws, moving the dot, up then down then right then left. Maybe 30-45 minutes of looking and adjusting and looking , etc. Then, perfect, or pretty close. Now, as I look through the red dot, and locate an object, star, moon, whatever, the object appears in the telescope eyepiece. Very easy to locate and look. Earth moves quick, so be intentional and make your move to look. I use the 20mm to first view, adjust telescope focus. Then change out eyepiece to the 10mm. Focus again if needed. It’s pretty remarkable. Objects are upside down. No problem, but realize that. I’ve gotta tell you. Very reliable set up, take down, set up, and easy to use. It’s all sturdy. I don’t think a child would be gentle or patient. So the adult needs to get it all set up before any kid looks through the eyepiece. Do not hesitate to buy this. Especially if you find one on sale. For not much money, you will be able to see the moon and more like never before. Buy it soon!

I have followed every direction on the package. The eclipse hasn’t even happened here in Ohio yet it is 1:42 PM and I have to tell you I’m angry that I want this telescope because I’ve tried to work all week and it does not
