Love this rack: sturdy, simple to assemble, pieces are nicely finished and fit together easily. Comes with all the little extras like cable management hooks. (Unlike a previous reviewer, mine *did* come with washers for the equipment installation screws.)The only thing I could find to nitpick about is that there's a minor error in the assembly instructions: if you follow them slavishly, you will install the top adjustable rails in the wrong direction, and will realize your error when the cross-rails don't fit. As long as you followed the advice to not tighten any screws till later, this is not hard to fix. But if it seems to you that you're laying the rails out in a weird way, you are right and you should not believe that detail of the instructions. (They should read something like "lay the rails with the printed depth numbers face down", rather than "bolt heads face down".)

I was a bit concerned after looking at other racks and comparing prices, but I went for it. I sure am glad I did. The rack is made of HEAVY steel with a nice powder coat finish. As other reviewers stated, the instructions are... minimal... but the pictures are decent and this is much easier than your average ikea build. The one watchout is that there are actually more nuts/mount points than there are bolts. The rack is quite stury without these bolts, but it through me for a loop and I ended up having to remove some bolts and put them elsewhere. I will likely buy a few extra bolts from Depot and fill in the remaining mount points; not because it needs it, but because I'm really going to load this rack up. Design is functional yet pleasing to the eye. I really love that you can adjust it to any depth you need. I would even say it's possible to adjust the depth while it's fully loaded, but you probably need two people for that. The biggest and best surprise is that it came with the casters!! It wasn't obvious to me from the listing or pictures that casters were included so I was very happy about that. The casters are high quality with ball bearings and a "soft" plastic wheel (like a roller blade). Would definitely recommend this rack to anyone who is looking for a serious server build but doesn't want to go scour craigslist or ebay for offlease enterprise equipment.

Seems to be decently sturdy for the price and spacey, currently have a HP DL 380 sitting in it just fine with some extra space (had to actually shorten the rack a bit). I will say, be ready to have an adventure putting it together. The instructions are OK but you may not get all the parts you need or extra of certain parts in place of the right ones. Customer service is helpful and responsive (I chatted on their website with them) and they sent replacement parts in a few days - however they sent the same exact parts I already had, not the ones I was missing. Thankfully they were nice enough to correct it again and overnight the new, actually needed parts to me. After getting it all set up, I realized I was missing a few bolts still but it's together and sturdy enough/stable (missing the secondary bolts for the rack arms to adjust the length so not a big deal). If you manage to get all the parts the first time then you're golden, otherwise you'll just have to talk to them to get what you need. Their QC department needs a little training ;).Would recommend otherwise.

Needed a good rack to run my home theater components, receiver, amp, 4K blu ray, Ethernet, etc. I keep it behind the wall where my screen is located. I was using an old audio/video wooden rack but knew I had to get something much better. Watched Life of Bliss’s YouTube video on it and he was right. It’s a great rack for the price. Mine also came with instructions (also on Navepoint’s website) and casters! The description said you can add casters but didn’t mention it came with them. A big bonus. I actually had to return casters I ordered when I purchased this rack. The unit comes with all the screws you need and a even a wrench. I’ve added about 4 shelves already. I’m going to add the Navepoint 19” drawer to it. It’s a very tough, sturdy rack, and I highly recommend it.

Got the rack on a discount somhow however it is still worth full price. Instructions are just a picture but it really isnt that hard to setup. This rack uses thread holes, just so you know however it is fine as this is also a standard. didng have any issue setting up components to the rack. Universal rails mounted with no problem. 4u case feels veru secure in the unit. Some nice little features, the metal frame is coated like a powder coat paint, so it wont scratch or chip easliy, feels good to the touch, not like cheap paint over steel. I picked the 28u rack which is 4ft 6 1/2 in tall with adjustable depth. The cross bars are in 3 pieces. 2 that attach to the post and a center piece that allows you to adjust the depth of the rack. The black frame of the rack has the rack units marked off in white paint for each unit, and when fully built there are 28 available, not like some cheap racks that would cut off the last one. There are a ton of screws and the mounting holes on the inside frame give a loft of mounting options for the outer edge or the inner edge. Entire thing is really light, definately 45 lb, but is sturdy when put together. Base plate has holes incase you need to bolt to the floor. Bottom flange extends out about 6 inches for support, and are bolt ons so they can be removed it necessary. Amazon pictures are pretty exact fot this unit.

I have been needing a rack for a long time but didn't want to spend $400. I took a chance on this one and was not disappointed. It came in a VERY small box and a lot more parts than i would have expected. The instructions are just a picture of the rack but if you actually need a rack than you should be smart enough to put this together. Tighten the screws well because it will slant to one side. Once I got all of my stuff installed on this rack, it was a lot sturdier. A lot of rack screws are also included so there is no need to buy them separately. Don't be afraid to purchase this. I have it 4 stars because there has to be a way to design the posts so that they lock into something and hold straight.
