Good build, but Odd size means phone text isn't full screen.The build quality itself is good. It comes with a nice sturdy but not hard case for storage and careful travel. The 9-inch prompter and glass, which are of good quality. A DSLR and an iPhone, the latter of which I had some issues with. A tripod mount with ARCA style quick release plate. A good phone clamp. A magnetic phone to hood clamp. A good plastic remote for the teleprompter phone app, which does require you to add not included two AAA batteries. And, a cleaning cloth for the glass.I have an issue with the 9 inch size. Since the prompter is designed for smartphones and not tablets, the prompter text never fills even half the screen. While it works well enough and the text is easy to read, that's a lot of wasted spaces. Perhaps the prompter could have been smaller. Otherwise, it should be designed for use with a minitablet, but the base's range is about 2 to 5 inches which might be too tight for an iPad Mini (or Android equivalent).The DSLR hood worked well with my Sony FX3. The hoods are attached to a plastic frame that slides into a groove that fits into the prompter easily. The DSLR and Smartphone holders are also easy to use. The DSLR component has a good ARCa plate and quick release mechanism and tightening base. Testing with my iPhone 14 pro, the smartphone can be positioned for landscape or portrait shooting, and the magnetic clamp ensures the hole and the hood are clear of the lens.Overall, a good but odd-sized phone prompter

Download the app. Sync the remote to your phone. Place the phone on the teleprompter. Set up your camera. DoneThe utility of the teleprompter will be dependent on your use, but honestly, anyone who's interested in filming themselves talking will absolutely benefit from having one. It takes a lot of pressure of the individual. No need to memorize anything, no need to worry about keeping eye contact with the camera. There's a reason these things are industry standard in television production. It simply works.I absolutely would purchase one of these teleprompters with my own money, and for any serious content creator it's an easy buy.4/5 I just wish the build was a tiny bit better, but nothing's perfect.

This teleprompter is a solid choice for quick content creation. It’s compact and easy to set up, making it great for desktops or smaller shoots. The build feels durable, and the ability to use your own teleprompter app is a nice touch. However, it doesn't fit larger devices like 10" iPads, which limits its usability for longer scripts. Il teleprompter Neewer, con i suoi 9 pollici e la struttura metallica, si presenta solido e versatile, anche se non rientra pienamente nella categoria dei modelli compatti. In passato ho utilizzato un MOMAN MT1 Mini da 6-7 pollici: realizzato in plastica, è decisamente più fragile ma anche incredibilmente leggero. Tuttavia, il Neewer compensa con una serie di punti di forza che approfondirò più avanti. Se cercate un teleprompter pratico e leggerissimo da portare nello zaino, ideale per vlog improvvisati, forse è meglio orientarsi su un modello differente. Ma se la portabilità non è la vostra priorità, il Neewer offre caratteristiche che meritano decisamente attenzione.Un punto di forza notevole è la gestione dei device per recording e teleprompter tramite morse, decisamente utili. Nel MOMAN MT1, ad esempio, il ripiano per smartphone e tablet non prevede sistemi di blocco, lasciando i dispositivi esposti al rischio di scivolare a causa di vibrazioni o superfici non perfettamente piane. Con il Neewer, invece, la stabilità è palpabile in ogni aspetto. La configurazione rappresenta un altro vantaggio: non solo permette di fissare gli elementi in sicurezza, ma anche di regolarli con precisione grazie a slitte e viti. È possibile lasciare spazio davanti e dietro al device, inclinare il vetro del teleprompter, avvicinarlo o allontanarlo dall'obiettivo della camera, o regolare l'altezza dello smartphone se utilizzato per la registrazione. La flessibilità è totale.Anche il telecomando e l’app gratuita si fanno apprezzare. Tuttavia, l'assenza delle 2 batterie AAA, che avrebbero potuto essere incluse considerando la fascia di prezzo, si fa notare. The hardware and associated software for this prompter was pretty easy to setup and get ready to go. It has no issues when using either the camera mount or phone mount and it is fairly easy to swap between the two. For my, admittedly non-professional, video work this has worked perfectly.The only downside is the inability to use anything larger than a phone as a display, so even small tablets are a no go. But realistically, the product never implied it was made for that.So overall this is a solid prompter at a reasonable price.

Although I own two other teleprompters, I decided to try the NEEWER model because of its compact size and desktop-friendly setup, which suits my workflow perfectly. It has been an absolute game-changer for creating content on my YouTube channels. Even if you're knowledgeable about your subject, it's nearly impossible to commit everything to memory and recite it seamlessly. I can’t count how many videos I’ve struggled through—or didn’t even finish—because I kept losing my place or had to keep revisiting my notes. With this teleprompter, I’ve already managed to produce four videos in just one hour!Functionally, it operates just like my other teleprompters, but the standout difference is its smaller size.The build is sturdy, and it fits perfectly on my small Manfrotto stand, sitting comfortably on my desktop right next to my computer. My iPhone fits snugly on the stand, and there’s plenty of room and clearance to use the teleprompter without any hassle. I was pleasantly surprised that reading from the iPhone in landscape mode offers just the right amount of space to follow along without feeling rushed.I’m not using the software that comes with the device because I already have teleprompter software set up from another unit, complete with folders and preloaded scripts. This means you’re not locked into using the included NEEWER software, which is a nice bonus.Overall, this is hands-down the best purchase I’ve made since becoming a Vine reviewer. In fact, I was so impressed that I’ve already ordered another one for my husband—no sharing this time! LOL

Quick background. As a freelance lighting cameraman, I have used teleprompters for years. A lot of years. I can trace back to where the scripts were handwritten on clear acetate with a Sharpie! Try doing on-the-fly editing with that system! Next came paper. Finally came computers. But those early units were big and heavy. First, they were CRT monitors, so heavy that the operators would add another 30-40 pounds of lead weights on the back of the prompters, to balance out the camera. Boy, did I hate those!Today, they are much lighter, the operators are very skilled with editing on the fly - adding or deleting scripts. And they are still a good size. Most of the independent teleprompters still use about 17" units for talent to view them well. But one to this excellent little unit by Neewer for now.The unit comes in a wonderful, small hard case. Open the case and you are presented with the prompter and the various bits and pieces, all in a custom foam interior.The main frame is an 8" long, 2 1/2" wide extruded aluminum bar. It is drilled and tapped along most of the length with 1/4" and 3/8" holes, alternating. This is so you can attach a "wedge plate" or some attachment that your tripod uses to secure the prompter to it. You will mount your tripod underneath this prompter.The camera platform slides along an inside rail, traveling closer or farther away from the front of the promoter. You can also gain about 3/4" in vertical height, with the camera platform, as it travels up as well. A quick release lets you remover your camera in a second, and the reverse is true as well. You can simply snap your camera back in place and you are good to go.You have two different shrouds that will block the light from behind the camera. If you don't get all the light blocked off, your subjects are going to have a more difficult time trying to read the screen. One shroud is for phones and the second is for cameras - like a stills camera, shooting video.This unit is so well though out! I love the fact that the hood - the main part that covers the glass and the sides - is magnetic and that it also holds the two different shroud backplates from moving out of position. Brilliant! And the inside of the hood is the best I have ever seen! Beautiful, light grabbing material!With it's small size, I would seriously consider purchasing some additional parts and a good shoulder pad, and make this unit handheld. Think about it. It could be a remarkable piece of gear in your kit! The ability to move around while still providing your actor/subject with text. Wow!A quick word on the 9" Neewer teleprompter. Yes, the unit is small. But that has huge advantages. Travel, for example. And that doesn't mean in an airplane to another country. It could just mean across town. Small, compact means saving time, space and your back, among other things.Another point, is that sometimes, you don't need the entire script entered word perfect for the actor to read. A lot of people have trouble reading a prompter. It's not easy and not everyone can do it. Watch your news anchors tonight. Many of them keep their head moving, just a little, but it helps to mask their eye movements as they read the text. So, it's a lot of practice - but here is another idea. Ok, this screen is small, right? How about only showing key words on the screen, one at a time. Let the person talk about the subject in their own words. Show "sales up" on screen, and they know what they want to talk about, with regards to the sales department showing an increase in units sold. You get the idea. This can also come across much more natural, too. Just fill the screen with the biggest type you can.Bottom Line - First, I'm sorry if I went on regarding the Neewer 9" prompter. I am only trying to give you a little of my experience with prompters over the years. I hope it's helped a little. Second, this unit from Neewer really is a little gem! Very well machined and some really smart, cleaver ideas. This might be the prompter for all occasions, but it could be the right one for some occasions.Don't throw this unit in the back and drive home. Bad things can happen on the road. Pack gear up, just in case! If we had more time, I could tell you some sad stories...!Last thought, if you have good buddy who likes doing the same kinds of things, but weight one of your want to commit to the purchase, then purchase it together! You both get to use an excellent piece of gear, you can share ideas of what's working and what's not, and you are only committing your self to half the money! Not a bad idea...!

Collegando il telecomando bluetooth con l'applicazione, si potrà configurare il testo regolandone la dimensione, la velocità di scorrimento e altro ancora. Nella parte superiore del teleprompter è presente anche una comoda e lunga slitta posta in modo orizzontale che permette l'attacco a diversi accessori (ad esempio un microfono, una luce ecc.)In conclusione un ottimo prodotto, ben realizzato anche se a parer mio la valigetta poteva essere un poco più grande e dunque leggermente più spaziosa all'interno. Il prezzo giusto secondo me è intorno ai €150, oltre potrebbe risultare un po' troppo anche se ben realizzato.
