Not sure I would ever recommend this adapter. Bought this to use with a very long 50 amp extension cord but one leg had connectivity problems and would blow circuit breakers and GFCI sockets in my travel trailer. Unfortunately it was past the return availability date when I first used it otherwise I would have returned it.

The benefit to this adapter is its downside - works perfectly, but the weight of the cables when attached to the adapter at a plug can put downward pressure on the plug itself - so definitely make sure the cable is fully supported to prevent plug from coming out when in use.

This thing is stout! Very sturdy construction. I would have no hesitancy to dangle one of those heavy extension cords off of this adapter. Must have for camping.

I used this with my 50 amp cable and 13,000 watt generator and it performed very well. No issues.
