Total pain to hang on the wall… wow…. I ended up using hot glue to hold it down, and then liquid nails over the hot glue and in spaces I left in between. I have horribly thin mobile home walls so the mounting clamps were not an option for me. Overall, they look great and the kid loves this accent wall light.

I have a very large Xmas display which includes a wide variety of rope lights. Many of the rope lights here on Amazon are clearly made in the same place, just rebranded differently. I have a bunch of them, but this one is so much brighter it's crazy. Easily 50% (or more) brighter. It's also much better sealed for outdoor use than the others (notice the red light in my photo, which requires protecting the power connection/transformer).There is a tradeoff, however. Because this rope light is more substantial than most of the others out here, it's a bit stiffer and harder to work with. I have this running across a 30' section of gutter, and even though it's a straight run, I had to use every single clip included with the package to get it close to straight. If they included even 5 more clips that would make a big difference. My other rope lights (like the red one in the photo), are much more pliable and work better around sharp corners (like a window frame or a corner), so for me both varieties of rope lights make sense. For sheer brightness and rugged build quality this is the best I've found on Amazon.

I needed 4 16.5 strips to line both sides of the driveway and some small loops. One would not light at all but was returned in exchange and the other 4 (including new from exchange) work great. It's VERY lovely and bright. My driveway looks like a runway.Installation was tricky since we have a concrete block, maybe six inches high, lining the driveway. The clamps were too weak and quickly broke. We got more heavy-duty, and Jerry rigged a few things, and it works great. The only issue is that the photocell we used on the prior old system turns on these lights earlier, in the late afternoon, since it is mounted inside the carport, which is more shaded. I may have to add a resister or replace the Photocell, and the same setup didn't turn on too early. It shouldn't be different since the photocell is the same and in the same place. I am not sure if the load (different resistance) from the string is different; that should not make a difference. It is beautiful once on and in place; love the bright, continuous blue light.

I should have checked out the red neon rope light within the return period as it isn’t working properly. It lights on one side but not the larger side which is the side that gives the brightness. It’s not a fuse problem so just a waste of money at this point. The green rope light works fine.
