These seem like really nice booties. I have done well with the hi-top versions from NeoSport, however they run a bit small so I had to return. I need a size 14, but these only seem to go to 13 so I'll have to look elsewhere. The combo of a drawstring with toggle and a velco strap provides a nice secure fit. Thin, but grippy sole provides decent protection and feel. Nice quality, strechy neoprene.

For seaglass hunting on shores with rocks, I needed a shoe that would protect my feet (bottoms and sides) from the rocks that I often step on and the rocks that the waves bring tumbling onto my feet/ankles. These do the trick!I wanted to find a shoe that would keep the sand out as well. Again, these do the trick! They do not have any mesh fabric to which the sand would be able to enter.I'm happy with my purchase. They are well made, sturdy, the sizes are true, and they support my feet well in every way.I recommend these water shoes.

I liked the boots fine but they didn't fit me. I wear a regular 6-1/2 so I bought 7 but it was too big and very wide. I returned them but didn't order the 6 because I think they would rub my big toe (the front is rubber). I really liked the design, with the adjustable closure and velcro strap. I wish they had fit me better. If you have wide feet, this is the boot for you!

Purchased for kayak trips to replace another pair I had. I'm a women's size 7, so I purchased a size 6. The fit is good, there's a touch more play than I would prefer, but not so much to feel sloppy on my feet. I took them on their inaugural paddle this past weekend and they kept my toes quite warm, and kept debris out. They don't really drain water unless you take them off, so just keep that in mind based on your preference. I didn't mind taking them off to empty the water at the end of my trip when they kept all the sand and stones out.

I like to wear wet socks all year round (My wife is mortified) and just moved to a cold climate. I do not use these for Kayaking, or scuba, or long romantic walks on the beach. But I wear them daily and they are awesome. I have been in them for 2 months daily now and they do great. The grip is insane, and the are warm. I wear a size 13 in most shoes and needed a 12 in these. These work as driving shoes, walmart shoes, holly cow its raining shoes, and they even seem to do ok with cactus. I will buy another set when these wear out. the only down side is that if it is hot outside your feet will get overly warm, but hey for Fall and winter they are the bomb.

I'm an 11 in shoes and I bought size 10 and they for great, not to tight and not too loose. I bought these for a wife water rafting trip and they did great for boarding the raft walking on land Ect.... Very durable and a good price. Others had the water shoes that you could buy for 10 dollars and they didn't last long for them. Do yourself a favor and buy these or something similar to them. Don't go cheep you will regret it.

Purchased these for my husband and I for a 10 day canoe trip. Through lake shores, 25 miles of rocky, muddy portages and fast moving rivers these shoes were champs!!! I even sunk down in mud that went to my mid thigh and pulled myself out and these shoes were still attached to my feet and weren't filled with mud!(Unlike other canoeists, who had to fill their shoes with water to remove all mud...we only had to walk in the water to rinse them off.)The soles provided excellent protection against rocky and woodsy trails.I gave this four stars only because once you fully submerge your foot under water, water leaks in and gets trapped in the shoe and sloshes around until you loosen up the ankle opening and pour the water out. Great for those hot days when you want to keep your feet cool in the canoe, not so much for when you are walking around on shore. The shoes do take a bit longer to dry than normal water shoes but well worth it. You will not get any rocks or even sand in these shoes! These over all are a great buy, don't look ridiculous and would highly recommend them. We both selected a size smaller than our regular shoe size and the fit was great.

These are just great. The neoprene upper is stretchy-snug and reasonably warm, even when soaked. Adjust them to fit once then just slip on and off. Close to the perfect foot-glove; like being barefoot - if your skin happened to be a few millimeters advanced engineering polymers. The flip-side is that they offer exactly zero support if you are one that needs or likes that kind of thing.Construction and materials are good to very good. The biggest fault is the choice of sole material. At a guess I'd say a blend of natural and synthetic rubbers with some fine mesh silica fill. The intent is a compromise between 'stick' and durability; a compromise that needs a bit of tuning, since it doesn't do either particularly well. The failure mode is wear holes in the sole - heel and ball - before the upper has a chance to fray much.Verdict: cheap but well designed, constructed. The price paid for exceptional light-weight and comfort is limited wear life. You'll get maybe a year of regular use out of them, but at just $25 or so they are more than worth it.Recommended. Oh, and round half-sizes up for these.
