As per what you expect from Scubapros, these booties are high quality. Zipper is bulky and has a velcro clasp. Metatarsal cover is great for prventing rubs from top edge of fin boot slot. Had to replace my previous pair because they rubbed my toe bad after several dives. These are fit to size but cut so the foot/toes have a little more room. The soles are thick and durable, but still dipped rubber so you can feel rocks and the ladder rungs through your boot, but not bad enough to puncture or cause limitations (assuming you arent using these to hike in for a shore dive)They also hold water because of the high sole coverage. After a dive you'll slosh around on deck until you take the bootie off and pour the water out. I suppose you could drill a small hole to help drainage but I didnt.

I initially ordered the 3 XL for my 12 Mens US feet, per the chart, had to send back for the 2 XL size. Didn't try them in the water obviously but they looked very well made and more of a "shoe" for shore dives which is what I'm looking for...

Mine are XXL. I bought these for canoeing in cold weather here in Maine - they have been toasty warm down to air temperatures of 40F, and allowed me to paddle into early December.They seem very well-made, with a large robust side zipper. They have a semi-rigid treaded sole, ideal for walking my boat to and from a launch site (though I'd think twice about portaging in them).The best thing is that the toe box is ample for my size 12EEE feet, even roomy, and even with 0.5mm neoprene socks on. I probably could have used XXL.

These are my second pair of ScubaPro dive boots - my first pair were size 3 XL, and I’ve worn them for two years with no issues (other than fit) and they’re still in great shape.I normally wear size 13US shoe. The fit for this pair (2XL) is correct for my feet. The boots are incredibly comfortable, with no awkward pressure points or loose spots.Putting them on and taking them off is a breeze, as is doning and doffing scuba fins on a dive boat — both big pluses when you’re gearing up or finishing a dive.They have just the right balance of flexibility and support, making them comfortable for long dives and ideal for walking across rocks or rough surfaces.I’ve found nothing to dislike with them so far.I’d definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality, easy-to-wear dive boots.

Pros. High quality construction. Comfortable, no chaffing. Fits true to size. These will fit the size XL legacy ScubaPro jet fins (though consider the 7mm version for a more secure fit).Cons.1) Pricey. There are are other options of comparable quality, function, and style.2) These will NOT fit into the foot pocket of legacy ScubaPro Jet fins size Large.Note: By “legacy Jet fins,” I am referring to arguably one of the best fins ever invented (albeit with far-too-small foot pockets). It is the ScubaPro Jet fin originally designed by Beuchat and eventually acquired by and sold by ScubaPro since the 1960’s. This is the version of dive fins used by some commercial, military and serious divers. I am NOT referring to the other fins made by ScubaPro such as its ridiculous split fins (sorry, IMHO, they are terrible) or its other offerings.
