I haven’t even made it yet, but the size chart on the package is the craziest I’ve ever read. It says that a U.S. size 16 means a waist of 30”. I am 143 lbs at 5’7” with about a 30” waist, so I guess I will be making a size 16, which is the largest size they offer, even though almost everywhere else I’m an 8, and have never been more than a 10. If the measurements end up being accurate according to their sizes, that doesn’t seem like very inclusive sizing. So the sizing will end up either being very limited, or inaccurate. Or maybe both.

I made the vest according to the size and it was totally wrong. It came out like 4 sizes smaller than what the pattern called for.Not a happy camper.An 11 year old could probably wear it.Grrrr

An sich ist das Produkt super, aber hier steht bis Gr. 44 es ist aber nur bis deutsche 42 und selbst das ist eine winzige 42 mit einer max. Taille von 76 cm. Bis auf die Sache mit der Größe ist aber alles top.

I made the vest in a size 14, exactly as the pattern described. All pieces fit together as expect but the item is 4 inches smaller in the torso than the measurements provided… I will have to draft a new pattern based off of this one… but it’s going to be a pain…. Better than starting from scratch but if you make this for yourself. Make the size that is 2 sizes bigger than your normal size as the written sizes won’t work

Bought for a GCSE project. Finished garment looked good, but some of the instructions were confusing, and occasionally I had to do what I thought because I couldn't work them out.It was advertised as 'easy', but it wasn't as simple to make as I would have expected. I have lots of experience, but it wasn't an easy pattern for my daughter to follow.Good pattern, but probably not the best starter pattern.
