I'm a 100% beginner and never used a sewing machine before but my uncle gave me an old sewing machine that i never even used once and I wanted to be a clown for Halloween but i couldnt find any non scary or non sexy clown costumes so i decided to try and make my own and I worked on it for a whole month and did had trouble but thats because of my inexperienced not because of the pattern but i ended up with the exact costume I envisioned! This project inspired me to try and sew more and I will try and find other patterns to use.

My mom made it! 2024 halloween was so fun! My mom also made the hat from the pattern! It turned out great! Fit me! I chose the patterns as well as my sister did. Love the colors we chose and I say for the price it's worth it!

The written sewing directions on the pattern did not direct as to when to use the double-fold or Single fold bias tape. It could also improve on the inner leg seam instructions of the jumpsuit; 5 yds of material is cumbersome enough to identify front and back, which is crucial in picking up the correct fabric to sew the inner leg seam. Needless to say, when the notches matched up I sewed only to discover I had misinterpreted the intent. Not fun ripping out casing and hems after notches matched up as the inner seam. I had to study the pattern picture to understand the one very general sentence written about the inner leg seam.

I didnt like that there was no reviews! Also didnt relaize its to show you HOW to make a costume.... i wanted the actual costume not make one....and by the time i send it back and pay for bs shipping i wasnt getting my money back!!! Not happy!

Pattern itself was fine.....but large was very large. I had to take it apart and take it in 2 to 3 inches.
