I put a 2in leveling kit on my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4. It was impossible to put the lower control arms back on the ball joint because I couldn't get on it with my big pry bar. I used this dandy special tool with my 1/2" breaker bar and a cheater pipe. It was still a bit challenging. I think I would have needed to dangerously compress the coil springs with ratchet straps if I didn't have this tool.I recommend this tool for all persons who do suspension work of any kind. Ball joints, Struts, CV Axles, lift kits...

Casted very well. The prongs are durable and I have yet to have an issue with the function. Smaller than other similar tools on the market yet high quality.A great tool for suspension work. A nice tool to gain leverage for the at home mechanic or in the shop.

This Lower Control Arm Prying Tool Kit from the Groword Store appears to be decent quality steel that will hold up in testing and removal situations that require prying. The Y tool gives you the ability to safely grip the lower control arm and by attaching a breaker bar in one of the holes, you will be able to apply the leverage you need to get things apart, or back together without the slippage that can cause injuries. The additional pry tools included can be used in many prying situations where control is needed. I like having this addition to my tool kit.

Three different types of suspension pry tools - the "Y" looking thing gives you leverage to seperate a ball joint or knuckle that is being pushed together by rubber bushings (I don't think its nearly strong enough to compress a spring very much). The "comma" looking things are designed to help you lever out an axle. Seems like basic steel probably water jet cut to size without additional machining. The "T" has fairly basic looking MIG welds holding the pins in place. Works in a pinch and the sort of tool you won't miss if you have to beat it up or modify it.

This Lower Control Arm Prying Tool Kit is a solid option for suspension work on front-wheel-drive vehicles. The tools are effective, with the 1/2" bushing tool being especially helpful. The pry bar adaptor head could be sturdier, and the instructions are a bit unclear, but overall, it offers good value for DIYers. Not as durable as higher-end tools, but great for the price.

This Automotive Control Arm Puller with Pry Tools Kit is really good-quality! Its really easy to use these, and I appreciate how the tools have fittings for square and star shaped socket tools.I tested these out with a control arm for my 2013 Mazda 3i Sedan, and it was a great fit to pull on/out the control arm. The tool arms fir snug around my control arm and the length surpassed my control arms width, which is exaclty what you'd want from a puller tool!My Quick Release Ratchet fit perfectly into the socket extention tool this comes with, which fits perfectly into the control arm puller and pry tools this kit comes with.The tools are are the types that if stored properly, these will last for years upon years, if not forever really. In my opinion, any tools that can make automotive work easier, especially DIY Automotive work, are absolutley worth the cost, which btw this kit is a total value!Side Note~My local trusted machanic shop quoted me a cost of $576 to replace my control arm, Im now spending less than $150 to have mine replaced diy, with the cost of the control arm and this tool kit, need I say thats a bet!! 😊I also now have tools I can use for future auto work for life, saving money in the future as well which is always a plus!!
